Peter and Krista have a great appartement in a fun location with plenty of things to do around and near enough from downtown Chicago to visit easily. I had a hard time to get in the appartement (because of me!!!!) and Peter was quick to help me out. Great appartement and afford…

Great value if you a large group trying to stay somewhere cheap. For 2 of us travelling on business there was nothing gained by staying in an Airbnb (coziness of home-like comfort that we seek from Airbnb). Beds a covered in a stiff plastic cover that is rather uncomfortable and…

Response from Peter And Krista:
This was actually one of the worst guests we've had. The sense of entitlement is truly astounding some times. We clearly state check in times that guests must accept the to be able to book. This guest badgered until we were able to force a cleaning lady to change her entire schedule to accomodate her. I asked her to leave a tip for the cleaning lady for altering her entire day to accomodate, which they didn't. Truly a classless guest. It's unfortunate how a few bad guests can cause so much problems. She then unfairly left us a 3 star review, because she didn't like how we went out of our way to allow her to check in early, despite it clearly stating it isn't allowed. If you're a host, stay away from this guest. Nothing but problems.

I grew up living between Chicago during the school year and Costa Rica during the breaks (The benefits of having both parents employed as teachers with summers off). I loved experiencing it as a child, teenager, college student and whatever label I am now. In all honesty, being a…

Pilsen is everything we'd hoped it'd be and more. It's a hipster's paradise with a strong Latino backbone of a neighborhood. Amazing Hispanic restaurants, bakeries and groceries are peppered with the …
