Recently renovated large bedroom, en-suite bathroom, lounge area and walk-in wardrobe within well appointed, rural 3 bedroom home on 2 acres of land. Beautiful views in all directions, peaceful garden full of wildlife and a swimming pool. Lismore is within 10 minutes drive.
The property has wonderful views in every direction and you can watch the sun rise and set. We have been gradually planting Australian native plant species, suitable for the local area, which attract a multitude of animals. There is plenty of space in the garden to relax, let children run around or enjoy a dip in the pool.
Guests will have a large bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, lounge area, a private entrance and car port. Tea and coffee making facilities, basic breakfast goods and a fridge are available in the guest area but guests will also have access to the main house kitchen for cooking. Guests will also be able to access a washing machine and clothes line, a north-facing verandah, most of the garden and the swimming pool.
We are a family of 3 (Claire, Eoghan and our young son) and live in the rest of the house. We are private people and will respect your privacy but will be available to help you with whatever you need.
Other things to note
We have solar PV, solar hot water, filtered tank water and use gas cylinders for the barbeque and cook top. We are also grid connected for electricity or hot water so you will always have access to power (unless there is a power cut). We have limited mobile phone reception but Telstra and Optus do work in some locations on the property. We have full internet wireless broadband.
We would be grateful for guests to be respectful of the property, keeping it clean and tidy and leaving shoes at the door. Excessive cleaning will attract extra charges.
Cancellation within 24hrs of arrival is appreciated, however, we do not charge a cancellation fee. Payment is required prior to departure.
Pets are allowed with discretion of property owner. Please call and discuss with us prior to booking if you want to bring your pet with you.
I am originally from Scotland and moved to the Northern Rivers in NSW in 2012 with my partner Eoghan. We have set up home in Fernside and are gradually trying to to increase the sustainability of our home by adding solar PV, water tanks, vegetable garden etc.. We love rural life and wish to share our home with like-minded people.
We also love travelling, good food, outdoor exercise, gardening and having a laugh.
