Cozy, cute, well-appointed, great trail access, perfect away-from-it-all location. My (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) friends are already asking for the link to book their own trips. Recommend!

This place is just cute as a button. The pictures don't do it justice. The cabin was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need along with a bunch of fun games (even an xbox) and movies for the kiddos. The location couldn't be any more perfect. A beautiful short walk to the lake or into town for breakfast. Lots of hiking trails safe and easy enough for the little ones practically right out your front door. You would never know how close you are to town because the quiet neighborhood is nestled perfectly in the woods so all the hustle and bustle is blocked from the large pines. Cheryl was very helpful and a wonderful host. We look forward to booking again.

We booked Cheryl's cabin as it was a short drive to Concho where we were attending the Lavender Festival. Cheryl's cabin gave us a great central location from both the festival and Greer, where we enjoyed a great afternoon of hiking. Upon arrival to the cabin, which was super easy to find due to the great communication from Cheryl, we were pleasantly surprised at the cabin. It was much more spacious than it appears to be in the pictures and was very clean and welcoming. As there is no a/c, it was a tad bit warm inside the cabin but once we opened the windows and turned on the fans, it cooled down quickly...coming from the 118* heat of Phoenix, it was wonderful. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen nicely stocked, and there are loads of movies, games, and books. It was so nice to sit outside on the front porch and watch it rain. Unfortunately we were not able to use the fire pit outside in the back due to the high fire danger warnings in the area which was disappointing as we were looking forward to roasting marshmallows but just the luck of the draw. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to stay there again...maybe in the winter to enjoy some snow! Thank you Cheryl for letting us use a little piece of your heaven! :)
