Unique place to enjoy Nature in the region of Laurentians. A treehouse located in an open-air center ( Refuges du lac démélé) with lakes, walking trails, snowshoeing, Nordic cross-country skiing, fishing, swimming.

The space
This treehouse style shelter is builded on stilts. At 12 feets in the air, it overlooks the Cameron lake with a beautiful view (in sommer it's less easy to see the lake because of trees). The shelter is located on the top of the mountain, on the border of a maple tree forest (non-exploited). You will find there all the peace and quiet of the forest.

This shelter is fully equipped to be use all year long. It can comfortably host 2 people, or up to 4 with 1 double mattress and 2 benches that can be use as beds. The shelter is also equipped with a gas cooker, plates, pans and pots and all the kitchen tools you need. The sheets, blankets and towels are not included (It’s possible to rent some from us if you are travelling in Quebec).
You have acces to the lake Démélé for swimming and make canoe (10 minutes walk on the forest. lake acces is a beach, or deck
Welcome to dog (additionnal fee of 25 $/dog) and important to clean hear dog, dog are not allowed to go in mezzanine and sofa, and keep dogs in leachs around beach and trails.

Guest access
All of our shelters are accessible by walk in the summer and with snowshoes in the winter. for this one it needs 10-15 min in summer and 20 -25 min in winter
Some carts are available to help you carry your belonging from the car to the shelter.
Canoe to rent (20 $ / day - one canot per cabin - reserve before coming)
You can reserve a quad for the transport of your luggages in winter. (on reservation at a cost of $ 25 one way).

Other things to note
Travelers should like rustic accommodation (without running water but with cans to have water, external toilets, solar electricity, wood heating with wood stove), a wilderness environment.

you need to bring:
You need to bring bedding (Queen fitted sheet, blankets or sleeping bags and pillowcases), towels and dish cloths (It is possible to rent sleeping bags for people who are coming from far away or are not equipped)
It is important to bring a flashlight and a headlamp for travel at night or read quietly in bed;
Candles, matches
dishwashes, etc...
You need to bring your own food, your own drinking water (for shelters and huts because the water is potable in Chalet). There is a drinking water source available in the summer but not in winter.

Kitchen utensils, pots, pans, stove
