The host was kind and communicated well. But the floor was sticky and the futon was dirty.

Located in a quiet residential area in the bustling city of Tokyo, this is a great place for travelers to rest after a long day of exploration. Toshimi was always very helpful and provided good and precise instructions how to get there, as well as responding to my inquiries very quickly. Transportation is convenient as it is a 5 minute walk from the Subway station.

Our host sent us a map and directions, so it was easy to find the way there. We rarely saw any of the other residents. We never met the host, and it was a bit unclear if any of the other residents stayed in the house permanently or not. The room was simple but functional. We had glass doors towards a small garden which we found very nice. The bed was good, but it was a bit hard to sleep on the futon on the floor. The room was relatively clean, it had a air conditioner which was good since it was a bit chilly in the house. The toilet and the bathroom wasn't really clean though. (Hair in the sink, smelled a lot etc.) The neighbourhood was great! Quiet, calm and felt really safe at night as well as during daytime. Close to the metro station Kotake-Mukaihara and close to 7Eleven, some convenience stores, some local restaurants and a self-service laundry place. To sum up we thought this place was ok to stay at, but maybe not a place for someone picky. Worth the price if you just want a room to sleep in.

This place is really good to stay for middle to long period. It's located in a residential area- safe and quite. They have everything you need. Walk around 8-10 mins to subway. Also, a rental fee is reasonable.

Toshimi has been a great host to me. The replies to my questions were always helpful, kind and fast regardless the hour. The room is perfect for one guest as it is comfty, spacious and with its own frigde, air conditioning, TV and wardrobe. The house is also well located: eating places of all kind, concenience stores, supermarkets and the metro stations are easy to find amd reach. Also the neighbourhood is not noisy at all. However, the house overall was very dirty. The people already living there do not do anything to keep it clean, so using the common spaces (kitchen, bathroom and toilet) was problematic.
