Iesa is a small old village surrounded by nature. It is the perfect starting point for daily excursions to some of the most beautiful places you can visit in Tuscany. Enjoy the quiet and the calm of an old village in our charming country cottage.

The space
The house is located at the end of the village of Iesa (called Contra). You can find a big garden where you can relax and have lunch/dinner during summer and grill tuscan specialties like Sausages (buy them at the small grocery in the village) and Bistecca alla Fiorentina (T-bone steck) on the stone BBQ. Enjoy the fresh cool air at night time during summer and remember to look at sky! The house has a cozy living room with the fireplace (wood is on the back of the house) and a spacious kitchen with a big table. The kitchen is fully functional and you have everything you need for cooking. If you want you can also make pizza in the wood oven! One bedroom with a queen bed is located upstairs. There is also a small balcony with a nice view of the village and the surrounding forest. The other bedroom is located downstairs and has a bunk bed. The restroom is located downstairs.

Guest access
At your check-in, I will provide you a set of keys.

Other things to note
The house is located only 25 Km from the medioeval town of Siena and other wonderful towns like San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence, Colle Val D'elsa (toward nord) and San Quirico D'Orcia, Montalcino (get a taste of the famous Brunello wine) Radicondoli, Buonconvento (toward south), Castiglioni della Pescaia and the Maremma (toward the sea). You can have great hiking on the Monte Amiata or enjoy the local hikes to the Farma river (30 min walk from Iesa) where you can swim and enjoy the surrounding nature or around the San Galgano abbey. Just 10 km from Iesa there are the ancient hot springs of Petriolo (built in Roman age) and if you are a hot spring enthusiast you can drive a little bit more to Bagno Vignoni and Rapolano (more crowded then Petriolo).
Try to search some of the names I wrote above and discover the beauty that surrounds Iesa!
