About this listing
Relax and enjoy the eclipse in the path of totality on our back deck. Only a few miles from downtown Albany (and about ten from Corvallis), our neighborhood has a country feel. Deer and wild turkeys roam the streets and yards, and tall conifers shelter owls and songbirds. There's a nearby winery and a county park, both half a mile down the road.
Our home is quiet and serene and full of original artwork, books, and musical instruments. There's plenty of space for parking.
Your bedroom has a double memory-foam bed and down comforter, a small desk/table with chair, and a dresser and closet available for your use.
Your private bathroom with a shower/tub is directly across from the bedroom.
You are welcome to watch TV, curl up and watch the wind in the fir trees, or strum the guitars in the living room. You'll also have access to the shared kitchen/dining/sitting room area, as well as the back deck (and gas grill).
Interaction with guests
We'll be there to welcome you and check you in, and during your stay, if we aren't at home, we'll be available by phone to help with anything that comes up.
Other things to note
You're welcome to use the kitchen, and we'll make space for you in the refrigerator if you like. In the morning, we'll provide a continental breakfast with fruit, bagels or muffins, and coffee and tea.
We have three friendly pets--a retired greyhound and two cats--but for now, we aren't welcoming guest pets into the house.
