This is a pleasant 2-level apartment that is perfect for a single tenant. The minimum stay is 3 weeks at $35/night. It's an ideal place to stay if your planned visit to Columbus is a bit longer than the typical "vacation".
This is an attractive and comfortable apartment for a single person who is in Columbus for an extended but relatively short period of time, or is in the process of moving to Columbus and needs short-term housing while searching for a long-term rental. There's no long-term lease to sign, no roommates, your own private bath, kitchen and laundry, and utilities are set up and included in the rental fee.
The apartment has a bedroom, bath, and a small closet on the entry level; and the living room, dining room, kitchen and laundry space are on the basement level. It is attractively furnished, and includes linens, dishes, a TV, washer, dryer, and small appliances.
The bedroom and hall have hardwood floors, the kitchen and bath have tile floors, and the stairs and the living/dining room space have carpet. It has a beautiful kitchen, and there is a washer, a dryer, a small laundry sink and a large closet in the space adjacent to the kitchen.
One off-street parking space is provided, and heat, AC, electric, water, cable, and internet are included in the rental fee. There is a refundable $200 security deposit collected at the time of booking. If no damage is found at the end of the rental period, the security deposit will normally be refunded within a few days to a week. No smoking and no pets are allowed inside the apartment.
This is a private apartment with a private direct entrance. Parking is on a driveway space just north of the apartment's entry door.
Interaction with guests
I live next door and am usually able to answer questions or solve any issues within a short period of time. I do however travel out of state for a week or more each month to spend time with grandchildren.
Other things to note
The apartment is relatively quiet, but you may hear footsteps from above from time to time. There is one adjacent short-term rental apartment above and behind this one.
There should not be any loud or boisterous behavior inside the apartment. Guests are welcome to visit you within reasonable hours, but no overnight guests are permitted. No exceptions.

I have lived in Columbus off and on since coming here to attend Ohio State University in the 60's. I have a degree in Architecture from OSU, but my real interest has always been in renovations. I have a son who lives in San Francisco and I love to visit there several times a year. My husband and I have 3 grandchildren - one in California and two in Michigan. I recently retired from OSU after working there for 18 years.
