Enjoying beautiful views of the water from every room, your stay in "Living Waters" will be special. If you want to unplug from a busy life and immerse yourself in God's beautiful creation, this home is for you!

The space
Pelee is a very quiet and beautiful agricultural and farming island, with about 150 year round residents and many more summer visitors enjoying their holiday there. The cottage was built in 1983 and has all the modern conveniences of your own home. The interior of the home is a clean and simple layout and design, making it easy for singles, couples, families or larger groups to enjoy. Mind you, the cottage is not fancy, but it's cozy, comfortable and a place that's truly relaxing.

Pelee has world class fishing. Biking. Boating. Swimming. Hiking. Six bikes available to use. Two row boats. Beach fires are welcomed. This is a family owned cottage. Its simple beauty will allow you to relax and enjoy reading...games...friends...walks...hiking...fishing... boating and so much more! Completely smoke free. Dogs permitted, but no cats due to allergies.

Guest access
You can use everything we have at Living Waters, all we ask is that you respect the property and hand it off to the next guests in clean and neat condition. Only the outboard boat motors and kayaks are restricted for use, unless special permission is granted.

Other things to note
Complete kitchen, washer, dryer, air conditioning, paddle fans, linens, towels included. Renters must clean linens and towels before departure. Renters are asked to remove all trash from the premises, and drop it off at the Sanitary Authority located on the west end of the island. We ask this because we do not live on the island. The cost for disposal is approximately $3 per bag. There are 6 bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas, charcoal grill, outdoor shower, and a CD player to enjoy, but no TV or WIFI. However, your own personal hotpot should be easy to set up to stay in touch with others as needed. We do ask renters to wash and dry their linens and replace them on the beds, and clean their towels before departure. Knowing this, some guests choose to bring along their own linens and towels in order to save time at departure. We also ask that renters tidy up the cottage as much as possible so that the cleaning service can clean quickly to prepare for the next guests. If all of these conditions are ok with you, we hope you will choose Living Waters this year to enjoy!

Location

Pelee Island, Ontario, Canada

Biking is certainly a favorite island activity. Pelee boasts of a beautiful winery as well. There is a small Grocery store, and a fully stocked liquor store. There are several nice restaurants and a great deli also. You must have a passport if traveling from US. Generally speaking, bookings are only available from mid-May to mid-October.
