We care very much about our guests experience, even and especially yours Rachel. I know you had a very frustrating night, and understand you are upset that we could not issue you a refund. Please understand that we honored our commitment and held your reservation for you, we stayed in communication with you as you got lost and did everything we possibly could do help you. Specifically, as with every guest, we provided you with very specific instructions to help you find our place. You admitted you didn't read the directions and set your navigation to take you to the wrong place. We wrote our directions precisely to make sure that doesn’t happen. Then when you got lost and reached out, we advised you to read the directions, which explain exactly how to type our address into Waze, (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps, and Apple Maps. Instead, you called Airbnb and cancelled your reservation. When you reached out again late that evening, even though you had cancelled your reservation, we encouraged you to just follow our directions, check-in to our place, and sort it out with Airbnb over the phone. Instead, you made the choice to check into a hotel. We are a fair business with top priority on customer service. You have every right to ignore our advice, not read our directions, and change your mind after your reservation has started. But we cannot afford to give our customers refunds for that.
