Our stay was great! Ayesha was very friendly and helpful, but also gave us space. Cottage was clean and super cute and she has all the basics available!

Good location. Bed is extremely comfortable. Ayesha is a great host. Very near old downtown and not far from activities and restaurants.

We had such a lovely stay here. We couldn't have asked for a better host, who met all of our needs (and then some!). Location was perfect -- my teen/tween boys were even able to walk to various locations without issues. We took full advantage of the well stocked kitchen and laundry. Internet connection gave us access to all the entertainment we needed, so not having TV channels was never an issue. We will certainly look for this sweet cottage for our future stays in Hot Springs!

We just cannot say enough good things about Ayesha and her wonderful home. The home is very comfortable for rest after a long day of scouring the Black Hills. It sits on a dead end so traffic is non-existent – very quiet! It’s not “out in the country” but it is near the outskirts of town. The location is near to Mt. Rushmore, Keystone, Hill City, Custer, Rapid City sites, and even Sturgis Rally (about 2 hours away). Ayesha responds to the needs of her guests, meaning she is aware of your need for space, or more interaction, whichever you choose. She will supply all the basic needs and ask if you want sheets/towels washed or just allow you to be left alone. I appreciated that so much. Pros: • Location in Hot Springs where you’ll find many affordable restaurants (including Chinese), gas stations, banks, churches, bars, grocery store, and shopping. • All types of tourist attraction literature available so you can easily decide what to do while you’re there. • Inside layout easy to manage – very comfortable • Wonderful furniture – comfortable and relaxing • Great bed – lots of pillows and enough blankets to keep warm. • Plenty of room for clothes in dresser and closet • Safe – all doors have good locks • Private: Backyard area fenced in • Fire pit – this was my favorite • Kitchen has microwave, coffee pot (percolator, but easy to use), toaster, stove/oven, and enough items to cook basic foods. • Full-size fridge • Huge bathroom • Washer/Dryer • Air Conditioner • Fans • Fireplace (which we did not use since it was summer) • Quiet, quiet, quiet Cons: • Tight shower for larger persons (no tub) • Low lighting for putting on makeup, doing hair. • Could use more kitchenware – a few more pots/pans, etc. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Ayesha!

Staying with Ayesha is exactly what I needed when I booked this trip. The Hot Springs area is a great location because you can easily access the caves, Mount Rushmore, the Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park and the wild horse sanctuary and the Badlands easily. And after a long day of exploring, we were able to come back to a quiet, comfortable home in a safe neighborhood. We felt at home at Ayesha's. We could cook, work and relax. Her house is very clean with all the amenities you need right there. We didn't even have to worry about taking home dirty clothes because we could do our laundry right there. But the best part of our trip was getting to know Ayesha and her sweet grandson. It was nice to play, roast marshmallows and talk together. We hope to visit South Dakota again and will definitely stay with Ayesha!
