Minimal Hostel is ideally located for exploring the city. You can walk to Schlesisches Tor underground station in less than 10 minutes and the East Side Gallery is a 15-minute walk away.
Minimal is surrounded by numerous restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and small shops.
If you come with your children, there is a children's farm, the beautiful Treptower Park and several playgrounds nearby.
We are not a party hostel. Smoke-free, no alcohol is allowed in the hostel.

The space
Minimal Hostel Kreuzberg has room for a total of 57 guests. There are single, twin, double, female and multi-bed rooms. And because we want to be a nice place for everyone, Minimal is mostly wheelchair accessible.

We see ourselves as a real hostel, which is why there are no private bathrooms. All rooms share shower rooms and WC´s, which are divided into male and female bathrooms.

The kitchen is at your free disposal. There is a large fridge to store your food and you are welcome to cook and bake.

Do you work remotely? We've created little niches where you can retreat to work. Sometimes sitting upright, sometimes leaning back in a beanbag and our tiny telephone booth gives you some private space for a call. It goes without saying that we have stable internet.

You're welcome to grab a coffee from the coffee machine in between and something to snack on at reception.

Minimal´s rooms are split in two zones. The multi-bed rooms are in one zone and the double rooms in another. Children can sleep in peace at 20:00 when backpackers are still linking up.

Speaking of rucksacks. We offer you the opportunity to wash and dry your clothes in our house.

Each bed in our shared rooms has a lockable chest of drawers. You can get a lock from us for a deposit of €5. The lockable drawer is big enough for your laptop and similar large items.

After check-out (11:00 am) you can store your luggage with us free of charge. You just have to collect it by 23:30 on your day of departure at the latest.

Something important at the end. We are not a party hostel. We are a place to relax after an exciting time in the city. We want you to be able to sleep in and work or watch a film in peace.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hostel. We do not sell alcohol and the consumption of alcohol is prohibited in the entire hostel. But good news. There is a bar next door. Why don't you go there and support our local bartender :)
