I grew up in a small town in Maine. I now live with my husband and our two cats (Jack and Diane) in Boston. A lot of our family and friends remain in Maine, so it made sense for us to purchase a vacation home that would provide us a place to stay and enjoy with them. We enjoy most outdoor activities. We love to travel and explore new places.
When we come to Maine we love to spend time in Portland. Portland is a great city with a lot of culture. We try to eat at new restaurants each time we go. Portland is a great city for foodies.
We also like to enjoy all that Maine has to offer. There is an abundance of things to do in nature. We love to go hiking and kayaking and experience the outdoors.
When we travel to other places, we like to meet new people and get to know the local culture. It is fun to find places that are off the beaten trail. Thats one thing that is great about AirBnB, you aren't always staying in the touristy locations. You get a chance to get out and see the area.
We enjoy being AirBnB hosts. We've met some really great people. We love being able to share our home and we enjoy reading the stories from guests that stay there.
