I stayed here for 2 months for an internship. This was a great place to stay! Melinda and Gabe were great hosts who were easy to contact and worked hard to provide me whatever I needed. The house is in a very nice neighborhood. It is a 1 minute drive to the park n ride. It's 2 miles from a Planet Fitness and a Frys. It's a great place a for a long stay!

My wife and I had a lovely time staying here. It was only for a night, after our wedding, but we left wishing we could have stayed another night. Beautiful interior and good location.

Awesome place! Host was super responsive and we loved the neighborhood so much I found my Birthday restaurant. My partner and I are not stay at home types so getting around Phoenix was cheap and easy. So many amazing restaurants and lounges. Great accommodations and I have to say the three chickens were awesome and confirmed that I definitely want some. Cheers Melissa

This guesthouse was AMAZING! Absolutely spectacular! Intelligently decorated in white and grays with an allegiance to the historic integrity of the house/neighborhood. I loved this experience.

A place for a very romantic, beautiful and quiet getaway. Our hosts have made a stunningly lovely spot, all whites and grays, with crystal chandeliers. In the backyard is a magical chicken coop. Melinda has left a very good list of neighborhood restaurants and sites. The Melrose neighborhood is new again, and a lot of fun.

Melinda & Gabriel User ProfileMelinda & Gabriel is a superhost.

Gabriel and Melinda Genier first purchased the property in 2015, the manor had been neglected for many years and needed countless updates.
While it's still a work in progress, and will be for many years to come, the suite which accomadates the guests is fully renovated.
Come and enjoy an unforgettable experience, and a piece of Phoenix history, at The Mackenzie Manor.
