The space
Located on a 110 year old farm property surrounded by maples, we have one BIG farm house. You are renting a duplex style home (this means a semi-detached 2 story unit) that is attached to the main farm house on the left, there is NO connection/no doors through to the main house. The photos describe the layout better than words can!

This spot makes a great central location to explore both Charlottetown and PEI from. It is 12-15minutes to Brackley Beach and similar to downtown.

- Own front entry and porch, private side deck (older but functional, scheduled for future renovations)
- Living room with couch/TV - NO CABLE/not a smart TV, but there are some DVDs supplied & books
- Kitchen with BASIC eating utensils, plates, cups, stove, microwave,option for coffee/tea brewing- please bring your own kitchen gadgets if you require them.
- Full bathroom with tub, all towels supplied, some toiletries supplied
- The second story has an area to get some work done with a desk overlooking the fields next to the property
- bedroom with comfortable queen sized pillow-top Sealy mattress (bedding supplied) and another half bath.
- You will have the entire duplex to yourself
- Singular dedicated parking space

It's a great central location to visit all of PEI, just over 5 minutes from the Charlottetown Airport and 5-10 minutes to the grocery stores.

This apartment is also very close to the confederation trail. It is located in a rural area on a sizeable -but not tourist oriented- location, there are fields around the house you will find cows and foxes in the field behind the house and we do have a dog and a 2 cats which are NOT and have never been allowed inside the rental unit - these are pet-free. Check out an Island map to make sure this location is a good fit for you.

During your stay

Check-in is by LOCKBOX! Guests have the freedom and flexibility to come and go as they please as we prefer ourselves. We take a handsoff approach but are available through AIRBNB for suggestions & assistance. We do not meet guests during their stays.

The owners of the property are a working family who live in the large house attached to the side of the duplex. One of the little girls loves to play outside. The family may be around the house gardening at times and you will see the dogs or kitties at times (NO PETS - visiting or ours - permitted inside the rental unit). There are other farm animals around the property as well... horses and cows, birds, foxes, the occasional raccoon, skunk etc.
