My boyfriend and I stayed at Renee's place for a few nights. The communication between us and Renee was good; she provided us with instructions to get to her place from the airport (and let us arrive at an earlier check-in) and she checked in with us (via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)) a couple times to make sure everything was okay. Her daughter greeted us at the apartment and gave us directions to Sacre Coeur, the supermarket, etc.
The apartment itself is quite small (a bit smaller than we were expecting, based on the pictures) and is on the 6th floor of a really old building (no elevator). Also, the toilet is down the hallway outside of the actual apartment. Despite this, the apartment is cozy and had everything we needed. There is a shower, microwave, wardrobe, table, two small chairs, and a small kitchenette with a stove, mini-fridge, pots, plates, glasses, and cutlery. It is well situated near a metro station and is on the edge of a vibrant neighbourhood.
Our towels and bedsheets smelled of cigarette smoke (but were clean) and the wifi did not work very well for us; it took a long time to connect and was spotty.
All in all, this is a decent spot for travellers looking for a budget accommodation in Paris.
