Guest access

The property is 220 acres of lush gardens and rolling paddocks. Guests are welcome to walk around the property and explore, fish for trout out of the Acheron River which lies at the base of the garden, enjoy spotting native animals and birds or just relax in front of the fire in the magnificent homestead. There are many bush tracks in the area and wonderful views of the Cathedral Ranges can be seen from the hill behind our house. Access to the property is off the Maroondah Hwy and access instructions will provided upon booking.

Interaction with guests

Guests will be able to access property independently once booked. Details will be provided upon booking. If an emergency arises relating to the house and/or property please call the contact provided at the property (in guest manual).

Other things to note

Of course this is a working farm so any interaction with animals is at your own risk. Our horse Alma is as friendly as they come and loves a pat. Our two Miniature donkeys can be a bit playful so we do not encourage getting into their paddock if you don't have experience with animals just in case you catch them on a cheeky day!
Please note, if you have young children you will need to be mindful of the open access to the Acheron river on the property. We have three young children and the river is not close up near the house but it's just a point to note.
