The Pine Cone Cabin is the perfect getaway for nature and animal lovers and those seeking to unplug from daily life.

Tucked off a country lane, in a park-like setting, the cabin feels worlds away, but is only a short drive from all the island has to offer.

The space
The Cabin is a quiet, pet friendly, 450 square foot space surrounded by gardens. The Cabin features high ceilings, large windows, wide-plank reclaimed fir floors and a large spacious yard for relaxing or playing a game of fetch. Many handmade crafts furnish the cabin, much of which have been made in our glass studio further up the lane.

The kitchen is fully equipped: a gas range, microwave, a Mr Coffee, a French press and a electric tea kettle. All the dishes, pots, pans and utensils and basic condiments are available for cooking meals. We have tried to cover the basics. We supply Island roasted coffee plus a drawer full of assorted teas.

ROKU HDTV with HDMI hook-up, free WiFi, plus a guitar.

The bathroom has a shower (no bathtub). Shampoo, conditioner, soap and toilet paper are provided, plus a washer and dryer.

The queen size, hybrid memory foam bed has crisp quality cotton linens and fluffy duvets for chilly nights.

The porch off the bedroom, faces east and is flooded in natural morning sunlight. Enjoy morning coffee with the hummingbirds.

South Whidbey Island has been my home for over 24 years. My husband and I have raised two kids and many pets over this time. My passions are gardening and cooking. Luckily, I get to garden everyday for my work. I lead a gardening team which maintains/designs private gardens here on the island. My husband is a designer, builder and an artist. Together we designed and built the Cabin. You may notice his handcrafted elements like glassware and sculptures in both the Cottage and the Cabin. I enjoy hosting and try to create a comfortable guest experience. I pick up my messages regularly and will be able to respond to your inquiry within a couple of hours.
