The photographs on the walls will take you from New York to Rio, from Mexico to Cuba The room has a double bed, and there are air conditioning, heating, TV LED. The bathroom is very large and is shared with another double room.

Located in the heart of Rome, close to St. Peter’s Basilica, our guest house is the perfect place to spend your Roman holiday. Il Vagamondo offers large and comfortable rooms and all the main points of interest in Rome can be reached both by walking and by public transportation thanks to his strategic location (it is only 200 meters away from the subway station and 150 meters away from the bus stop and from a taxi stand). Rome is an overwhelming and lively city: it is one of the world’s richest cities in history, art and culture; it also widely acknowledged as the heart for Catholicism. Rome, by the way, is not only famous for its cultural heritage but also for its “dolce vita”, its entertainment and tasteful food. Alessandra and Maurizio will give you all information and suggestions you may need about the best places to see, the best things to do and the best restaurants where to eat, so that your holiday will be an unforgettable experience!

All the rooms are large and comfortable, they’re all designed with meticulous attention to detail. The rooms “Oceania” and “Africa” are both Family rooms (for four people) with their en suite bathrooms. The rooms “America” and “Asia” are both Double rooms with a large shared bathroom. These last ones -like the rooms “Oceania” and “Africa”- located in the left wing of the guest house are perfect both for groups and families, as they have a door that separate them from the rest of the apartment.

I went to Rome for Mother Theresa Canonization on the Sep 4th 2016. Maurizio place was perfect for Vatican trip. It is just few minutes walk to the square. Though i didn't met Maurizio, his co-worker Andrea was out of the wold. He explained everything very well and he offered coffee on arrival. He was very prompt in answering the call and very helpful. He speaks very good English so i didn't had any problem communicating. One day i couldn't able to open the door so i called Andrea and he immediately answered at the late hr and helped me open the door. About the room, it is exactly like the pic. The room was super clean. I don't know about the breakfast since i skipped all three days, but there was croissants in the kitchen all the time for a quick bite. That was very helpful. I will definitely recommend to others and i will sure stay with them again. Kudos to Andrea for making the stay wonderful. He is awesome!!

We had a very pleasant stay at "Il Vagamondo guesthouse". Maurizio was very hospitable, and flexible. Breakfast was also good, and the neighbourhood is one of the nicer ones in Rome and very close to the ample sightseeing hotspots of the city. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Maurizio was a fantastic and kind host. He was very nice and welcoming, he even waited for me outside the building to greet me on my late arrival. His place was very clean and he also made sure to clean my pretty, spacious room as well as the bathroom everyday I spent there which was really nice. Maurizio also provided me with an awesome breakfast every morning which was a bonus. I definitely recommend Vagamundo Guest house to anyone who is coming to visit Rome to stay there. It is in a good neighborhood, about 5 minute walk to the Vatican and St. Peters square. Thank you again Maurizio!!

I'm Maurice. I am Napolitan, and I live in Rome for 12 years. I chose to do this job because I like to meet people from all over the world. Each with its own history, their own stories. And I'm good Neapolitan very hospitable. I like to cook for friends and often invite them to dinner. I like that my guests feel at ease.
I like traveling, going to concerts and sports.
