Located on the 13th Tee of the Royal Kaanapali Golf Course, this full 3-bedroom, full 3-bath condo has unobstructed ocean views providing breathtaking sunsets. It is located near Kaanapali Beach, Whalers Village, Black Rock and the Old Sugar Cane Train station. Our posted nightly rate includes 13.25% Hawaii state tax. We have been a licensed rental since 1993.

Welcome to the FRONT ROW of the Kaanapali Plantation! It's all about location, and this condo is located in the FRONT ROW of the Royal Kaanapali Golf course at the 13th tee, providing an unobstructed view of the ocean.

Besides being on the FRONT ROW, it is also the only rental that has THREE FULL-SIZED BEDROOMS and THREE FULL-SIZED BATHS, each with it's own vanity/dressing room, full closet, and separate toilet/tub area for complete privacy. Two bedrooms have queen-sized beds and one has two twins. The bedrooms are large with ample closet and drawer space. All bedrooms have ceiling fans.

This Maui condo has an oversized lanai that provides a panoramic 180 degree unobstructed ocean view, which includes Lanai, Molokai as well as many sightings of whales breeching during their migration. This condo has the largest lanai at the Plantation.

This unit has amazing panoramic views, plenty of open parking, short walk to Kaanapali Beach, close to hotels, shops and restaurants. HIGH SPEED WIRELESS INTERNET is provided for your laptop. This Maui vacation condo is a single level NON-SMOKING unit. The condo has 1546 square feet. This is a Licensed Rental! We do not allow more than 6 guests per rental. This is the largest rental unit at the Plantation.

Our unit has the most amazing views on the west side. Come see for yourself! All bathrooms and dressing/vanity areas are now tiled! We are licensed with Maui County and the state of Hawaii. Our Hawaii Tax ID numbers are TA-034-996-4288-01 (9.25% tax) GE-034-996-4288-01 (4% tax). Our on-island manager is Maid for Maui.

When your reservation is confirmed, you will automatically be sent the “House Manual” with more detailed information. One week prior to your arrival, I will send you the key access and WiFi information.



2. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests may not exceed SIX, children of ANY age included.

3. NON-SMOKING UNIT - Smoking inside the unit or on the lanai will invoke the security deposit and termination of your stay.

•The Kaanapali Plantation Homeowners Association prohibits smoking on all lanais as well as common areas of the project except in “Smoking Designated Areas.” The map for designated smoking areas is in the white folder in the entry of the unit.

4. Pets are not permitted under any conditions.

5. DAMAGE DEPOSIT: The unit will be cleaned and inspected prior to your arrival. To avoid invoking the damage deposit, the following conditions must be met:
a. No smoking inside the unit or on the lanai
b. No damage to the unit or its contents
c. All debris, rubbish and discards are removed
d. Trash is removed and placed in outside trash bins
e. Soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher, and washed
f. Linens or towels are not lost or damaged
g. Two door keys are left on kitchen counter
h. Lockbox door key is returned to the lockbox
i. All doors and windows are closed and locked
j. All lights and fans are turned off.
k. No late checkout without permission

6. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.

7. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS - Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and occupants will not be permitted to check-in.

8. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE - While linens, bath, and beach towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included.


10. Occupant will receive arrival and departure instructions prior to arrival. Occupant agrees to pay $30 in the event of a lost key.

11. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS - Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.

12. NO REFUNDS DUE TO STORMS/BAD WEATHER – Please be advised that no refunds will be given due to storms or other bad weather that may occur during your stay.

13. Liability and Cancellation Clause:
Tenant agrees to hold owner harmless from all liabilities and costs of defense, including attorney's fees, arising out of tenant's use and possession of leased property, and from all claims and any liability incurred by invitees, family, friends or business affiliates of tenant.

Great place. Quiet. Close to the beach. Nothing fancy, dated decor but every thin works well. We did not goto Hawaii to stay inside, so the appearance did not really matter. Very quiet area. Lots of rules. Some of them excessive. No talking outside after 9 or using cell phones on the patio. Would go back.

Fantastic location and very welcoming and responsive host! I can now see why there are so many pictures taken on/from the lanai... it was the best place to relax and share memorable times with my family. Great views of whales breaching, rainbows, geckos, sunsets, birds and beautiful flowers. Truly paradise. The rest of the condo is well appointed with everything you need to have a terrific vacation... right down to the beach chairs and boogie boards! Highly recommend this to anyone. You will feel like you really live in Maui instead of just being jammed into a crowded resort. The full kitchen allows you to save $$ by eating in... and although small, the condo pool was completely empty every time we happened to visit, so it was essentially a private pool! Thanks, Gina... and thanks to your mom too.

The listing was exactly as described and the location is about a 500-700m walk from beautiful and clean Kaanapali beach in a nice and quiet complex. The condo itself is a bit dated but totally has the tropical feel to it. The kitchen has all the basics so if you feel like cooking some of your meals in, you should have everything you need there. Best of all, there was a blender which was awesome for making tropical drinks. When we arrived the condo was nice and tidy with plenty of clean towels and some nice toiletries. Gina also had a book of instructions for everything in the condo/facility for our benefit as well as an on-island contact number and some suggestions for places to eat. We were also pleasantly surprised to see that there were folding chairs, beach towels and mats for us to use which was awesome. As you may have read in other reviews here, there is carpet in two of the three washrooms which wasnt my preference but it was really well kept and clean. The rooms and condo are super spacious and two of them have great views of the golf course and ocean. we saw a bunch of whales off the lanai (which was huge and really nice for reading and hanging out). There are a lot of glass furnishings in this condo. Two full walls, side table, coffee table, and the dining table are almost completely made of glass. Be careful, as my friend accidentally broke the glass side table during our stay. Per above, we had a bit of bad luck as we accidentally broke the glass coffee table top early in the trip. As well, when we arrived and tried to use the oven the first morning, the lower burner was not working. I let Gina know and she had her property manager take care of it promptly with minimal inconvenience to us. Gina was a bit delayed in responding to my initial inquiry but was very responsive and patient with my questions as I coordinated the booking with the rest of my group. She was easily reachable during our trip. We used Airbnb's resolution center for the glass replacement. Once she provided me with the glazier as well as the property manager's invoice I paid promptly, and in full. In my opinion it was resolved amicably. Overall, I thought Gina was a good host, she gave very thorough and accurate instructions throughout. Her condo is as described, had a great view and although the furnishings are dated, it was clean and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay.

Location was great. While not on the beach, it is in walking distance (about 500m) to Kanapaali Beach and it is a great quiet area, with a Lanai of the unit looking out over the tee blocks for the 13th hole of the Kanapaali Kai golf course and a nice view of the ocean, from which you can see whales breaching during the appropriate time of year. Nice private pool in the area, and while small, it was hardly ever used when we went to it. Elderly people seem to live in the adjoining buildings mainly, so nice and quiet. Host was very helpful when I texted her to ask a few clarifying questions. Unit spacious 3 bedroom. About the only thing I would change in the future at sometime is to not have rugs in 2 of the 3 bathrooms as I personally think in a tropical climate and in a bathroom, it is not very hygienic, although the unit was clean I would stay here again no problem - lots of room for the 4 adults and 2 children that stayed here.

Gina's place exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our family of 4 plus grandparents. The rooms were incredibly spacious and very comfortable. The view is unbelievable from the enormous lanai. Gina was a wonderful host and responded almost immediately to any questions we had. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Gina and her son Tyler were very accommodating and welcoming. We had some last minutes changes which they smoothly handled. The condo itself is very nice and comfortable. The location is convenient to both Lahaina and Napili. The drives to Kihea and Wailuku are only about 45 minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

About Gina

My mom bought this wonderful condo in 1983, and our family has been enjoying it ever since. We rent it out when we are not on island, and I manage the rentals. We do our best to make our guests comfortable by keeping the unit in excellent condition. When on Maui, our favorite things to do are to surf, snorkel, eat, shop, and sit on the lanai and watch the whales breach during their migration or simply enjoy the sunset.
On the mainland, I teach English at a community college in Los Angeles. I also write. I have published a novel called Stella Silvers and the Secret and am working on a second book called Cassie Finn.
