Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Rural area 20 minutes from Placerville. Surrounded by 25 Wineries in Somerset and Fairplay. Apple Hill 20 minutes. Rivers, lake, hiking trails all close by. Skiing 45 minutes

Choice of good restaurants, Great grocery store, all minutes away. Spacious living, In-Law unit located below my home. Separate and completely private. Patio, yard, parking and entry door, all private and separate. Gated security.
Sheep and Tortoises live here. Welcome to visit them. I can provide treats to feed.

The space
Spacious open living inside and outside, with covered patio area. 700sf of living space. Large bedroom and bath with lots of counter space. Not full kitchen, yet everything you need to prepare and serve simple meals. Small fridge, 2 burner cooktop, microwave and toaster oven. Barbecue with briquettes provided, on covered porch.

Bedroom recently refreshed with, new bed, mattress and pillows, paint & flooring. New blackout curtains to block the bright early morning sun.

Covered patio for enjoying outdoors, and the great local view. Cool green lawn, lots of flowers. Far enough from city lights, night sky is beautiful with twinkling stars.

Hilltop privacy, locked security gate to enter property. Please feel free to leave blinds open, for light and views! No one around to invade your private space. I live above, might see me around on property, but unless you need something I have no reason to come down.

There are friendly greeters. 2hr window eta and I will contain them. Ignore them, they stay in my yard.

You might see me across the driveway feeding tortoises
or sheep, you are welcome to come see them, Tortoises really like treats. Or take a stroll down driveway to check out Huge multi trunked Oak tree growing out of moss covered Granite outcropping. Really quite spectacular.

Good Grocery, nice varied choice of Restaurants just minutes away.

This was a unused space below my home. My millennial son thought was a good space and location for an Airbnb. He fixed it up and posted. Guests have been really nice and say enjoyed their peaceful time here. Happy to provide a clean, comfortable space to enjoy my little slice of nature.

Apartment is all you, with own parking, entrance, covered patio and yard with green lawn, flowers and views, totally separate from my yard and living area above. Sheep area and tortoise habitat across driveway you are welcome to visit them, I can provide treats if you would like to feed them. Please stay out of barn area above, there are bee hives. I do not come down to apartment, feel free to leave blinds open for light and views. I appreciate the same privacy above. You can stroll to lower area to walk your pup, stretch your legs and check out Massive Oak. Locked gate keeps property private and secure.

Other things to note
Pets must be supervised at all times!! There is livestock that cannot be harassed, or threatened.
