Francesca's place is in a great location in Rome. We literally walked everywhere except the airport and train station. Right out the front door you have a view of ancient ruins and the Forum and the Colosseum are close by. The apartment is in a very secure building in a nice neighborhood. The apartment is clean and the bed was very comfortable. Like most places in Europe, the hot water heaters are tiny so quick showers are a must. Our only issue was the A/C was not working while we were there due to annual maintenance in the building. The furnishings were basic but comfortable. We actually didn't meet Francesca but we conversed through text messages and she was very helpful and responsive. Check-in was smooth and easy. Bottom line, we would stay there again when we return to Rome.

The host Francesca is very friendly and communicative and responds quickly to any queries you may have. We were met by colleagues of Francesca at the apartment and given clear instructions on what was where, things we needed to know as well as tips on places we may want to visit, which was nice. The apartment itself is cosy and very clean and tidy. We had no issues staying here and would definitely recommend.

The location of the apartment was very close to the Forum and Colosseum. The nearest Metro stop is about a 10 minute walk, something to keep in mind with suitcases. The apartment is in a large building, which can be noisy at times. We experienced a couple issues during our stay: The toilet broke within the first day and ran constantly. We contacted the host a few times about the issue and she said a plumber would fix it. One of the "plumbers" appeared to be a friend and didn't come prepared with any tools for the job, using a knife and scissors to remove screws. The second time a "plumber" friend came over, the host didn't give any notice and let us know he was standing outside the door and needed to be let in. Towards the end of our stay, the host had a “plumber” come in to look at the toilet while we were out for the day and for some reason they took our last roll of toilet paper forcing us to go elsewhere for a bathroom. At that point, the water seemed to be turned down and the toilet hesitated to even flush. The second issue was with the outdoor patio. There is a washing machine (one of the reasons we stayed here). However, the patio space to hang laundry constantly smelled strongly of cigarette smoke from the neighbors. We let the host know but she was also unable to resolve that issue.

Response from Francesca:
I did my best to help the guest in all of his complaints, the plumber arrived right away, but the spare part that guest has broken was not available in the store the same day, the smell of cigarette smoke came from the nearby terrace of a private home and it was not my responsibility, on the last day asked for toilet paper at 11:00 pm, impossible to intervene in the night, but one member of my staff brought it early in the morning. The guest has rented an apartment, not a room in hotel! I'm always at the disposal of every guest staying in my home, but absurd requests at all times of day and night, sometimes I cannot get it.

Francesca’s apartment is very centrally located and in a very quiet upscale area from where you can see the Forum. It is ideal for a family of 3/4 people and has everything that is required. On our arrival we were welcomed by Ms Elena who was waiting for us and explained everything about the apartment. All important places like the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Forum, Colosseum, Palatine Hill, etc can be covered by foot and there is absolutely no need to use taxi or metro. All along the important monuments there are a number of supermarkets and places to eat which are again very near to the apartment. We give this apartment a big thumbs up and we highly recommend it. We would definitely stay again whenever we are in Rome. Suggestion: try the canolo and the other sweet dishes and of course the ice creams at Giolitti (via degli Uffici del Vicario). We went for 3 out of 4 days of our stay in Rome.

Hi to everybody, My name's Francesca.
I'm 28 years old and I'm graduated in Iternational Management to the Link Campus University in Rome. I have so many friends, for me friendship is very important and sacred. With them I have taken different trips to Italy and to the foreign countries, because I love traveling, to visit new places and to know so many people that tell me their uses and customs and they recommend me what to see in their cities is. I am very curious, therefore it interests me all of this that is new for me. I love the traditions, history, culture and kichen of all countries.
I live in a wonderful place that is Amalfi Coast, in Maiori, a small town that once it was of fishermen, while today a tourist center has become. The sea and the nature I like and I love all the animals infact I live with a dog and two kitten.
I'm very interested of food and of Mediterranean kitchen and I can make demonstrations of traditional kitchen and home dinners.
In my house to the sea I make my vacations with my two sisters and we always have guest so many friends. I have chosen to devote me to the hospitality and I'm sure  I'll do the best.
