Other things to note

Piero, my dad, has an organic garden witch in summer offers delicious vegetables: tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant/aubergine, carrots, potatoes, celery, onions, garlic. Fruit trees such as plums, apples, pears. The two olive groves protect 500 olive trees that in November give the olives from which we get the best oil in the world. In the garden in front of the apartment you will find herbs you can use in the kitchen: basil, sage, fennel, nipitella, rosemary and mint. Ripe figs can capture directly from 12 fig trees spread throughout the grounds.

Roberta was very hospitable and gave a lot of good advice about what to do and where to go and eat. The apartment was great. It has everything you need and the kitchen was well equipped. The swimming pool was very nice! During our stay (in august) there were a lot of mosquitoes, so make sure your bring enough insect repellent:)

Giacomo and Roberta were really really friendly and arranging with us. They even provided us with some of the vegetables from their garden. We rarely had as much as attention as those hosts provided for us. Directions, food, services, and smiles. This is exactly how Airbnb should always be and we are delighted to recommend this place to anybody. Location is really nice, not too far to local shops and most cool cities from Tuscany. A must dot

Giacomos house is very nice! The road to the accomodation can be used from any vehicle. Just 400m apart there is a little castel where you can uy wine and oil and from where you have a fantastic panorama view over the toscana. The fruits on the farm as well as the swimming pool are really nice!

we had a lovely three days at caciaia. it was truly a magical place to stay! giacomo and his family are lovely, joyful and accommodating hosts. the space was perfect for us and there were many special touches that reminded you of the antiquity of the house. the beds were comfy and we slept great. we cooked each night and were very happy have such a nice place in the olive groves to eat. it is wonderfully restored and cozy- the temperature was great (you never know how it'll be in april). for us, it was in a perfect spot to stay to visit and enjoy the smaller cities like arezzo and discover the beauty of the countryside. our son loved being able to explore and wander the area around. it is great for kids and we really enjoyed it as a home away from home- we will certainly be back!
