Nestled in the middle of the National Sea Shore's Fort Hill Area, a private suite in a old, rustic Cape Cod Farm House. Surrounded by sweeping fields that lead down to Nauset Marsh. Steps away from the Fort Hill Nature Trail. A truly unique stay.

The space

This Beautiful farmhouse is over 250 years old!
Located on the top floor of the house the rooms have sloping ceilings and a cozy feel. The rooms catch the cool ocean breeze so we have fans, but no air-conditioners. We also offer wifi. We have no wheel chair access. The rooms are on the third floor so it is up two flights of stairs. We have a cat and a dog in case you have allergies. Sorry.
We have a two night minimum, single night reservation can be booked for an additional $10.00.
If the dates you are interested are not available please visit our Knowles Farm Inn South Room listing.

The Fort Hill Area's open fields and stunning views of Nauset Marsh make it a favorite of locals and visitors alike. There aren't many places on the cape that equal the beauty and tranquility found here.
Fort Hill is the perfect place to view spectacular sunrises and star gazing!

We're not far from the Cape Cod Rail Trail and a short drive to ocean and bay beaches. 5 minutes from Famous Wellfleet Drive- In!
There are several restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Diners will find cuisine's including Thai, South African, deli sandwiches, burgers and fries, ice cream and of course fresh Cape Cod seafood!

Guests will have access to a private two room suite with a double bed futon and shared bathroom. Bathroom will be private if South Suite is not rented.
The comfortable living room will is also available to guest. We serve a light breakfast in our dinning room of fruit, yogurt, bread from local bakeries, coffee and assorted teas. There is a is a refrigerator that guest can use in the dining room. Guests will also have access to the outside deck.

Great room in a beautiful home. While the house is old, all the amenities & comforts are there. The listing perfectly describes this & we were quite happy with the experience. For 1st time Cape visitors, the location is a bit of a trek from landmarks & a car is required. Otherwise though, this was a great place to stay!

Thanks so much to our hosts for having us. We loved staying in your historic home. Thanks for all the tips and insights about its interesting past and local Outer Cape amenities. We truly enjoyed the wonderful breakfast each morning in a serene atmosphere looking out towards the marshes. We couldn't have thought of a better place to spend time on the Cape!

Perfect. Everything was perfect. The home is an absolutely beautiful, early American farmhouse that just feels great to be in. The setting is quiet, scenic and peaceful. The host, Sarah, is incredible. She made our three day stay wonderful. Can't say enough, or express how grateful we are to have found this!

It was nice renting a 2 room mini-suite in Sarah's home: The "minuses" of the rental were: - No TV - I hoped to watch the US Open and did not have the energy to go to a sports bar - this may be irrelevant to others - Smallish (Full) bed in the North Suite with slanted roof making the bedroom somewhat tight - The South Suite has a larger bedroom and Queen bed - Shared bath - this did not bother me but I hope we did not wake our neighbors when we went to the bathroom in early morning - No "common area" downstairs to hang out - other than the great deck The much more important "pluses" were: - The idyllic setting, adjacent to the beautiful Fort Hill Trail and Nausset Bay - A great deck, overlooking the fields - Nice location, between my favorite Cape towns of Chatham and Wellfleet - A separate room next to the bedroom to relax in and put our luggage - A nice breakfast of fruit, yogurt, yummy bread and coffee - A very reasonable price for Cape Cod - A very friendly and caring hostess (Sarah) with good advise on things to do
