Beautiful "Vineyard" cottage located right on a bluff over Lake Ontario. Fully stocked kitchen with BBQ, picnic table on deck, and fire pit. Beds were comfortable, cottage was quiet, and the eggs provided from their own chickens were delicious. Kathryn was very accessible and quick to respond to any questions throughout the weekend. Already planning our return!

Our stay at Nokara Farms was simply wonderful from the warm welcome offered by Kathryn to the comfortable and precious Chardonnay Cottage. Pride of ownership makes this cottage special and quaint, not to mention the scrumptious muffins baked and delivered to our cottage by the owner. Thank you Kathryn, we will return !!!

My friends and I had an amazing time at Nokara Farms. Chardonnay is just a darling cottage and fit the 4 of us perfectly, however it would be wonderdul for a romantic getaway for two! The cottage had everything we could need and the freshly baked treats and fresh fruit was a really thoughtful touch. We would all come definitely come back again! Thank you so much Kathryn!

Stunningly beautiful location, Kathryn was a wonderful welcoming host. First class accommodations, conviently located near Niagara on the lake & Niagara falls, & many wonderful wineries. We enjoyed sunsets in the evenings on the porch & walks on the beach.

The Cottage was even lovelier than expected. Kathryn has done a truly amazing job decorating it-so warm, comfortable, incredibly clean and gorgeous. The views are just breathtaking. The photos couldn't do it justice. You truly leave all of your cares behind when you walk through the door! The kitchen was well stocked with wonderful baked good and farm fresh eggs. Everything we needed to prepare meals was at hand-and tons of great stores and restaurants within 5 miles. The lake is so close, easy to walk down the hill to. Incredibly private-didn't see or hear a peep of the neighboring cottages. Port Dalhouise was so great! Had such fun everywhere we went, when we could bear to leave the views and the comfort of the cottage. We felt welcomed and very well cared for. We can't wait to go back!!

I'm in love with this place! Staying at Nokara Farms in the Chardonnay Cottage was a wonderful experience. When I walked into the cottage and saw the view of Lake Ontario, my first thought was that I may never want to leave. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking Lake Ontario and enjoyed relaxing to the sound of the waves. The sunsets are phenomenal and we always made sure to be "home" in time to see the sunset. Kathryn and Joe are very friendly and generous hosts. The cottage was stocked with any breakfast food item and the kitchen was fully stocked. There was a grill, fire pit and wood for the fire pit. We were given a welcome basket of baked goods and fresh fruit that came right from their market at the entry of their property. This is a working farm with the cottages on the back of the property on Lake Ontario. We enjoyed the corn on the cob, strawberries, grapes, peaches, and many baked items. There are farm roads around the property and we had wonderful walks down and around the farm. We lucked out and were able to see grapes being harvested. Joe even made a special trip to the cottage to let us know about the harvest, since we had expressed interest. What I wish I had truly understood before our trip is that this location is very central and within ~ 20 minutes to Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake. Very easy day trips. There are over 130+ wineries in the area, many reasonable golf courses, lots of shopping, and restaurants. The cottage is decorated perfectly with every detail thought out. This stay was impressive and top notch! Next time we'll be back for a week.
