The space

Fantastic five bedroom modern home in premier Bristol location available to rent for a minimum of a week for guests or by the day for film/photog shoots (prices vary).

The sleeping accommodation consists of a large master bedroom with en suite bathroom with a bath and a shower and two further double bedrooms with en suite shower rooms. There are two further bedrooms - the smaller room has a single bed with a pull out bed beneath it and the larger one has a single bed and a sofa bed - or room for a camp bed. There is a separate family bathroom. The rental quoted is for 8 people, all on real beds. All towels and linen supplied, including those for the pool.

On the ground floor there is an open plan kitchen dining area leading to a living room and home office. Next to this is a fully functional utility and cloak room area. Wrapping round the entire back of the house is a jaw dropping cliff top veranda with stunning views over the Avon Gorge.

The house boasts a gym and games room equipped with powerplate, running machine, weights and exercise bike. There is a heated outdoor swimming pool (open summer months only) and hot tub (available all year round) overlooking the gardens which lead down the cliff to private walks through Woodland Trust land. The two acre garden with trampoline and tree house.

There is free wifi Internet access and cable TV with TIVO in the sitting room and master bedroom and free view TVs in three other bedrooms and the kitchen.

Huntersdale is in the Sneyd Park area of Bristol minutes from the huge flat grassy area called 'the downs' - a popular jogging spot. Sneyd Park is a suburb lying on the western fringe of Clifton Down, adjacent to the Avon Gorge and the Sea Walls observation point. The number 40 bus stops five minutes walk away and goes into town. There is also parking for three cars at the house.

We rent out the house during school holidays and by the day for photo shoots or certain events.

Our family friend, Lena, lives in a separate flat in the basement with her husband. They have their own decked area and do not share he communal space.

This is our third holiday at this lovely home. Us and the children continue to go here as it feels like a home away from home. It is fully stocked with all the crockery and linen you could need, and is relaxing and spacious. The 5 bedrooms are a great size and comfy! Bristol is a great place to go for restaurants and things to do, and when you come home the pool and jacuzzi are wonderful! Highly recommended for a visit!

A sylish, fun, light filled family home with fantastic warm pool and good quality jacuzzi. Lovely views and could see all the way to Wales. Sundowners on the balcony - marvellous!! Great kitchen with good kit. Good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The only slight downside for me was the road noise from the Portway running along the foot of the Avon Gorge but this didn't bother some of our party at all.

Tamsin has a great house in a great location in a great part of the country. With fantastic space (multiple rooms), fantastic views (overlooking the Avon Gorge) and fantastic facilities (pool, hot tub, gym), it has something for everyone. As a family of 5 with one teenager and two young girls, we throughly enjoyed ourselves. Tamsin is kind, considerate and very communicative. She genuinely thinks it about it from the stayer's perspective not from the host which is great to know. I thoroughly recommend her beautiful house to others.

We had another wonderful week staying here - for the second year in a row! The views are amazing; the service by Tamsin and Lena is prompt, efficient and friendly; the house is spacious and has everything you could need. The boys loved playing in the pool and jacuzzi and were sad when we left. We would highly recommend this house to anyone wanting a holiday in Bristol. Why stay at a hotel when you could stay here!

Tamsin is the perfect host with a perfect home in a perfect location. Communication was with ease from day one with Tamsin being incredibly helpful and quick to reply to any questions that I had. I wanted to find a venue with an X factor and the location and property is incredible, breath taking views, ultra modern amenities most of which I didn't actually get around to using! Tamsin was the perfect host and gave me the opportunity to wow friends that joined us on the stay, everything was so simply thanks to the great communication before and even when we arrived even down to a guide recommending places to eat etc. I would highly recommend the property and Tamsin as host to anyone in a heartbeat and I thank you once again Tamsin for all your assistance in planning a perfect weekend that will be treasured forever xxx

We are a family of 6 with ages ranging from 96 to 6 years old. We needed to stay 'close to home' but have a holiday at the same time. Tamsin and her home were perfect for this! The house is amazing and in excellent condition. We were welcomed with a kind note and 'bottle' :) and the stay was everything we could imagine. There were a couple of minor things that happened when we were there, but Tamsin was on the case and they were resolved almost immediately. The children loved the pool, the trampoline and the jacuzzi specifically, I liked the easy to use kitchen and living spaces. The towels and linen used were a lovely quality. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone. We hadn't been to Bristol before and had an amazing time there (the location of the house is perfect for exploring). I asked everyone for what could have been done better for the holiday, and the only comments back were that it should have been a longer holiday! Tamsin's communication were perfect - prompt and thoughtful. Thank you Tamsin! Emily and the Smith Family

We had a fabulous break in Bristol; the house was fantastic and enjoyed by all. The space provided something for everyone - kids and adults alike loved the pool, hot-tub, gym, garden, tree house, drum kit, trampoline and zip wire, and the balcony and stunning views provided a perfect place to relax. We were able to entertain friends and family, catering made easy in the gorgeous kitchen, and the bedrooms provided flexible space for a mixture of families. The house (helped by the fantastic weather we had) won the accolade of "one of the best places ever" from my five year old nephew. Friends viewing the photos asked if we had been in Greece or Italy, and couldn't believe that we had found such luxury in Bristol. Dealing with Tamsin was very straightforward and friendly, through booking to returning the keys. We agreed that a lesson for us all would be to further 'child proof' the house before arrival of a group like ours, ensuring that all precious personal items are packed away. We would love to visit again, and cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for a special break in an amazing location in the west country.

Thank you for that. We have been lucky enough to have such lovely guests stay here and enjoy what we have. You must come again in winter - when people see those photos and think we are in Switzerland surrounded by pine forests! A glass of wine in the hot-tub when it's snowing and then a quick dash to sit in front of the fire!
