Loglady is normally my home, but becoming yours, when I am out of town. I love this place, hope you will too.
The aparment is in a very quiet neighbourhood on the Castle hill. Within a few minutes walk you can reach the historic Castle district where you can find museums, exhibitions and a breathtaking view of the Pest side of the city, with the Danube and the Parliament building.
You don't have to catch a bus either to have a lovely brunch in one of the best restaurant in Buda. At Déryné they serve fresh patisserie and a damn good coffee (and you can read the main international newspapers too).
Just a few metres from the apartment there is a nice park so you can start the day with a refreshing running.
The bus stop is 3 minutes walking from my apartment so you can get to the city center by public transport in 10 minutes.
Carparking is possible on the street but from monday till friday from 8. a.m. till 6. p.m. it costs 1,5 EUR per hour.
From 2015 Budapest has a public bike system which is a good alternative for public transport. The closest docking station to the apartment is in 300 metres.
There is an hourly night bus from the downtown which takes you home between midnight and 5am.
