Our brand new studio is in the perfect location in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, right next to Centennial Park and a short walk from Westfield and Bondi Junction train station. The space is set at the rear of our house, with a separate gated entry through the courtyard, has its own ensuite and enjoys an open air living space with kitchenette.

The space
Our studio is set at the rear of our house, and is accessed via a gate on Birrell St which takes you into the courtyard.

On one side of the courtyard is the garage, which we have turned into an undercover, but outdoor living space for our studio guests. There is a kitchenette which has a bar fridge, microwave, plug-in hot plates, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. There is crockery, glassware, pots, pans and utensils, as well as some cleaning products, laundry detergent and a supply of Nespresso capsules. There is also an iron and ironing board, and we share the washing machine and dryer with you.

The studio is up the steps from the courtyard and has a king bed (which can be split into two single beds upon request), a small desk for getting any work done and a television (along with all Foxtel channels). There is an ensuite with shower (shampoo and body wash are provided), and the studio has a fan as well as reverse cycle air-conditioning to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer.

Free wifi access is also provided.

Guest access
Once we provide you with your keys, you will be able to use the separate gate access and lock both the gate and the studio. To collect your keys, you will need to contact Nicki or Dave to organise your arrival time.

Other things to note
Parking is restricted out the front of our house to 2 hours between 8am and 6pm on Monday to Saturday. There are some unrestricted spaces in York Rd (only 50 metres away), but these do tend to fill up fast during weekdays - you will definitely be able to find a spot at night though to plan for the next day.

We think this is the best place to stay in Sydney. We are less than 100 metres from Centennial Park, which is a vast parkland which includes playing fields, forested areas, lakes, horse tracks, bike tracks, cafes, a restaurant and much more.

At the same time, it's only a 5 to 10 minute walk to get into the shopping district of Bondi Junction or to the train station, and you can walk to the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants of Oxford St, Paddington in around 15 to 20 minutes.

There are also bus stops within a few minutes walk which will take you to all the sights Sydney has to offer - including Bondi Beach in about 15 minutes, and the CBD in about the same.

If you want, you can also walk to Tamarama Beach (the next one south from Bondi) in about 30 minutes.

I live in Bondi Junction in Sydney with my wife (Nicki), our son (Raph) and our dog (Maya). We have our own accommodation business and let out the studio at the back of our house to visiting guests. We love eating out, going to the beach, having a glass of wine, going out for walks as a family and travelling (when we get the chance).

During your stay
The studio is located at the rear of our house - the studio and the house being separated by the courtyard. We do share the laundry, which is in the garage space, and we do have a very friendly dog who has access to the courtyard through a doggie door. We will also use the courtyard gate to take the dog out for a walk, and will occasionally have a meal in the courtyard (as long as that is OK with you). Apart from that, you will have the space to yourself.

We work from home, so we are always available to answer any queries you may have or see to anything that comes up.
