Very good location. It was very close to a lot of restaurants that we had wanted to go to. Close to bus stops that can take you downtown.

The location is amazing. Just a few minutes walk to Division Street that had a bunch of cool places to eat and hang out. Hawthorne is also very close. We took the number 4 bus straight downtown from Division. The basement sleeps three comfortably. The bathroom was clean and fairly bright for a basement. The keypad entry is handy. The Wi-Fi was good. I will say we saw some new and interesting insects in the basement. If you're super squeamish maybe look for above ground lodgings.

Response from Lisa & Joe:
Please note I spoke directly to this guest as I was very concerned since we have never had this kind of report in the 2 years we have been hosting- We can reassure this was an anomaly and please do not get the impression that this is a common occurrence but don't stay if you get freaked out by an occasional bug. (Just in case!) Here is her response: "I'm so sorry I gave the impression that we had problems with anything. Just some spiders and centipedes were coming in from under the baseboards. I think they were looking for a place to get out of the heat. We enjoyed our stay nonetheless." "

Great location in the city, close to an array of food trucks (which is great if you come to the city to eat, like me!). Perfect area for biking. Lodgings were wonderful with all the necessary amenities. The hosts didn't introduce themselves but their art added a personal touch. Found it was a bit damp throughout the night, especially in the morning. Could be noted that a dehumidifier would make the place even more comfortable. Can't wait to come back to Portland!

Great location, clean space, nice and cool on hot days. Footsteps from upstairs could be a little loud sometimes. Might not be great for a light sleeper. Otherwise it's just as described. Thanks!

The place was great, My travel companions had a lovely time and fought over who got to sleep in the cute lil loft. It was clean, extremely private, the mini fridge was a perfect touch and the location was close to lots of fun restaurants and bars. It got a little cold but as soon as Lisa was informed that was quickly fixed. Would stay here again.

Had a lovely stay in Lisa and Joe's suite. Not only is the place hip and comfy, it's located in the middle of Portland's Hawthorne neighbourhood--a great mix of little artisan and vintage shops and little places to grab a drink. It's also located right next to a great little bike route that leads to the downtown core. Wish we could have stayed longer. We'd come back again for sure!
