This small but cosy studio is ideal for one person or a couple. There is a shower, a toilet and a kitchen area. The room is only 10 minute walk away from the famous Canterbury Cathedral. Next to the East Train Station and near the west train station.
This self contained studio-room is ideal for one person or a couple. The room is ensuite ( there is a shower and a toilet inside) so you can enjoy complete privacy. And there is also a small kitchen area composed of a compact mini-kitchen with Sink, Mini Fridge/Freezer, storage Unit and Electric Ceramic Hob.
Well, it is not the Hilton :) but if you want somewhere to stay in absolute privacy without having to share a flat with someone else, and close to wonderful Canterbury Cathedral, this will do just great! The studio-room is comfortable, has everything you need, including wireless Internet, small fridge and private car parking. In order to avoid false expectations, I would like to invite you to look carefully at the pictures and make sure that you are happy with the size of the studio-room. To conclude here are some of the words of previous guests who in my view describe well this listing: ' Very nice little studio with basic cooking facilities and private bathroom. Great for a short stay'. 'Good place but be aware that this is more of a traveller's rest than a romantic retreat'.
There is a communal door that when opened leads to a communal hall where there are two doors the one to the left is the entrance to the independent room-studio and on the right there is a door that leads to the flat where landlord (Sakis) lives with his (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). The studio-room and the neighbouring flat are completely independent and have their own locks on the respective doors.
Interaction with guests
Depending on the day and your arrival time, me or my flatmate will meet you and give you the keys to your self contained studio-room. There is also the option to leave they keys on a lockbox for you to collect if you arrive late or if your arrival time is inconvenient for me to be there because of work. Your studio-room as it is depicted in the pictures, is independent with a different entrance and a lock in the door and the interaction with the host is minimum, meaning that you will probably only will meet with myself or my (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) when we give you the keys.
1). Guests are kindly asked to remove their shoes and leave them at the communal hall.
2). The person who lives next door is a very quite PhD student studying long hours so I would appreciate if you can keep any noise down.
I enjoy travelling myself, I have lived and worked in four European countries. I will be at your disposal to recommend the best restaurants and pubs in town. My favourite motto is: 'You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you just might get what you need!' M. Jagger
