Patricia did not have to accept the booking as she did. I was very clear that since the rate was so low and since she had 6 people that to be fair to me and make it worth my time for the rental, I would need an extra $50 for the linens. Again, she didn't have to take the unit. It was her decision to take the unit for only $99/night and a one time fee of $50 for 6 people. She chose to accept the booking and then told me she also wanted towels and I included them without a problem. She wrote on more than one occasion "no problem with the fee, how would you like me to send it" I wasn't trying to get around anything, I just suggested an App that I use for payments not realizing that I could make an additional request via airbnb. Patricia wrote and told me how beautiful the unit was and how happy they all were. Then the snow came and the power went out for a short time. It was back within a few hours by 8 pm of the same day but she decided to leave and ask for one night refund. She also decided she no longer wanted to pay the $50 fee after using the linens and towels for several days. So, in trying to resolved, I said I would call it a wash not pursuing the $50 as the whole experience was causing me such stress. Again, she could have stayed at the heated unit with full power yet she chose to leave. I decided the $50 was not worth it to pursue and let it go. After saying how beautiful the unit was, I was surprised at her negative comments later on and Ii will certainly address anything ensure my guests have a great stay. All I can say is that I will continue to be the host that everyone except patricia has been very happy with.
