Regarding the aircon, it is not possible to install the machine outside on the façade because in Florence’s centre there are old buildings and very strict regulations on what you can do. The machine installed in the flat was the quietest on the market, most guests find it ok. Anyway sometimes it makes a very little noise and because some are used to sleep in complete silence, in the flat there is also a fan that can be used during the night. The option is no-aircon at all, like some other flats in Florence, but it makes very difficult to sleep especially when it is really hot :-)
Clean the dishes, dry them and put them away before you leave, please.
Do not leave trash.
PLEASE SWITCH OFF AIR CONDITION (OR HEATING) AND ALL THE LIGHTS WHEN YOU ARE NOT IN THE APARTMENT!
PLEASE AIRCOND ON ONLY WHEN YOU ARE IN
SWITCH IT OFF WHEN YOU GO OUT
due to extreme hot weather the machine cannot be left always on.
otherwise it will not work when you are back in
I was born in Florence, am married and have a four year old daughter. I graduated in economics and fashion from Polimoda University. I have worked on design and product development for 15 years in the Italian fashion industry, specialising in women's shoes; an absolute dream for many women! I like art, animals, reading, skiing and sailing but most of all I like to learn about different cultures, their food, tastes and lifestyles. Consequently, I love travelling. I have been to almost every part of Europe and every other continent including the Far East, ( Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Japan), South America (Cuba, Mexico, Guatemala and Peru), the US and Canada, Africa (Egypt, Morocco and Kenya), United Arab Emirates and India (Mauritius, Seychelles, Maldives, Sri Lanka and the Himalayas, my most favourite part!). Our next travel plans are to go to Cambodia.
