The space

Characteristic apartment in the historic centre of Florence, just a 5-10 minute walk from the central train station of Santa Maria Novella, from the Duomo (and its beautiful Cathedral) and other places of interest as L'Accademia with David of Michelangelo, Central market, Piazza Signoria, Ponte Vecchio.

The apartment of 50 square meters on the first floor is completely renovated with luxury finishes, bright, with air conditioning in every room, wi-fi, TV, washing machine, wooden beams Florentine. You will find also oven, iron, hair dryer, bathroom accessories and of course, bed sheets and towels.
The apartment is composed as follows:
-a large living room with sofa bed (french bed) and kitchenette
-a bedroom (with a king bed) and mezzanine as studio,
-a bathroom with large shower.
Just in front of the building there is a garage for those wishing to reach Florence by car and within walking distance of restaurants and the San Lorenzo market, offering fresh products every day.

Guest access

From the central railway station of Santa Maria Novella take Largo Alinari (at the corner there is Mc Donald) then Via Nazionale, then turn right in Via Guelfa (the fourth str) and then the first street on your left it 's Via San Zanobi (10 minutes walk).
The apartment is in Via San Zanobi 32 ( in front of a garage)

Other things to note

Daily tours available in Tuscany with local company with big experience. -If you are 2 persons and you want 2 separate bed (DOUBLE BED AND SOFA-BED) 10 EURO MORE.
PLEASE CONFIRM THE TIME OF YOUR ARRIVAL AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE.THANK YOU!
Regarding the aircon, it is not possible to install the machine outside on the façade because in Florence’s centre there are old buildings and very strict regulations on what you can do. The machine installed in the flat was the quietest on the market, most guests find it ok. Anyway sometimes it makes a very little noise and because some are used to sleep in complete silence, in the flat there is also a fan that can be used during the night. The option is no-aircon at all, like some other flats in Florence, but it makes very difficult to sleep especially when it is really hot :-)

I would recommend staying here. Alessandra was very kind, helpful and accommodating. She gave us a list of places to go, a map, and stayed in contact with us during our trip. Her place is very clean and nice. Its also very spacey if you are a lot of people. We enjoyed staying here a lot, and would recommend this place to a friend.

We spent 4 nights at Alessandra's lovely home and we loved it! She's such a welcoming and lovely host and made us feel like home. Upon our arrival, she took the time to explain everything to us and also gave us lots of tips on restaurant options and places that are not as touristy and more unique and special. She recommended a great winery in Chianti which is very special and nontouristy and even made reservation for us. Overall, we highly recommend Alessandra's place if you plan on visiting Florence. We'd definitely come back in the future!

We had a fabulous stay at the Cleopatra apartment! The location is great, close to everything you could need. 15 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio. The apartment is very clean and has several windows for natural light. Alexandra was very welcoming and helped point us in the direction of good restaurants and tour spots. We highly recommend for a couple.

We enjoyed our stay at Alessandra's place. Alessandra was a great host & helpful with providing info & answering our questions even though she was out of town. The apartment looks just as the photos. Great location, 10 mins walk to the main train station & all main sights. Overall, a great experience, I would recommend staying here.

Alessandra was very welcoming and helpful, she was nice enough to let us checking early (we are traveling with a baby and heavy luggage). We had a little issue with the aircon (our fault) later in the day and she did her best to help us (even though she was busy with an engagement - her mama's birthday!). The house was clean and perfect for us. We would recommend this place to all who are thinking in visiting Florence. Thank you Alessandra! We hope to see you again! Ps. She even lent us a crib and toys from her daughther for our little boy AND a fan from her home so we could use it if needed instead of aircon (for the baby). Very thoughful.

I was born in Florence, am married and have a four year old daughter. I graduated in economics and fashion from Polimoda University. I have worked on design and product development for 15 years in the Italian fashion industry, specialising in women's shoes; an absolute dream for many women! I like art, animals, reading, skiing and sailing but most of all I like to learn about different cultures, their food, tastes and lifestyles. Consequently, I love travelling. I have been to almost every part of Europe and every other continent including the Far East, ( Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Japan), South America (Cuba, Mexico, Guatemala and Peru), the US and Canada, Africa (Egypt, Morocco and Kenya), United Arab Emirates and India (Mauritius, Seychelles, Maldives, Sri Lanka and the Himalayas, my most favourite part!). Our next travel plans are to go to Cambodia.
