This was a lovely B&B with a warm and accommodating host, a clean and comfortable room, a welcoming porch and a delicious breakfast. We stayed here as our first overnight trip without our toddler son and were looking forward to a good night's sleep. My only two issues are as foll…

Good morning, Rihanna, and thank you for your review. It was very kind, and happy that you enjoyed your stay. I am sorry that you were sleeping accommodations were not as expected? I honestly must admit, this is the first I've heard about the bed squeaking? As we are a bed-and-breakfast, we change our mattresses out approximately every 3 to 5 years. Until now, we've had no complaints. I will ensure, though that we do change out the bedframe, it may be time. As for the noise, again would you live at the lake and on a weekend we are surrounded by entertainment. Sometimes the entertainment is louder than we ourselves wish. Unfortunately we do not own the establishments, though we do have a noise ordinance for midnight. It is funny because sometimes people are upset because it is so quiet at the lake, so they leave to get something more exciting. We try to be honest and Note in all of our advertisements that it can get extremely noisy, so the entertainment strip may not be for everyone. I am pleased, however that you did to find some hiking trails that helped you enjoy your weekend. Take care, and would hope to possibly accommodate you again, though during the week when it is extremely quiet.
We really enjoyed staying here. Our room was exceptionally clean and well taken care of. You can tell that the owners thought of everything for the guests comfort including providing umbrellas (which we unexpectedly needed). From the moment we arrived we felt like we were appr…

Sweet Sweet Sweet You Are! Thank you for you kind review. I'm a girl. I am pretty much OCD. Jerry and I travel often, so know what we like and expect in our lodging. As for the small (URL HIDDEN) this would be a nice options, it would make our place more of a hotel room than a B&B. I also though about a coffee station on the second floor, but we decided not to have one as it would take the B&B experience away from our guests. Most seem to like coming down in the morning, even in PJ's, to the smell of coffee, and more so, as long as they label their goods, don't even mind the community fridge. Believe it or not, we only had one problem with 'the cheese people -ooooh!), but most eat their own...LOL! Maybe in the future, though!! Thanks for your most kind review! Hope to see you again soon!!!! xoxo Lu
Luann's B&B is wonderful! It's a beautiful old house, beautifully kept up and soooo comfortable! The wraparound porch is terrific for enjoying a glass of wine anytime of the day or evening. The place was full when we stayed, but quiet and lovely- you'll get a good night's sleep a…

Jerry and I purchased, then moved into our lovely home, April 16, 1990. To our dismay, and trying desperately to get some sleep that evening, we lay awake staring at the ceiling wondering what in the world we were thinking taking on such a HUGE task of refurbishing the dilapidat…
