This pretty but very small Queen room is Directly on Entertainment Strip Across from Lake Erie. Walk to 2-Lakefront Wineries, Restaurants, Attractions. 10-mile radius to 22+ Wineries, 18+ Covered Bridges and numerous Antique Shops. 6-miles to I-90.. You’ll love my place because of the intimacy and coziness of this Historic Bed and Breakfast, the Private Bathrooms in each room, and the Full Hot-Baked Breakfast each morning!.

This is most important regarding the time frame of your stay...

As we are located at the Lake, Directly on the Entertainment Strip, there are several establishment owners who hire entertainment during weekend and holiday afternoon and evenings, especially during summer months. Prior to Memorial Day Weekend and after our mid-September Bike Weekend, the lake becomes extremely quiet. More so, as we are a 'destination', weekends, as well, host motorcycles. Due to these facts, please realize that these busy times should be observed, and if you are sensitive to noise, though we do not want to discourage your stay with us, you may wish to reserve your stay Sunday through Thursday rather than weekends and holiday weeks / weekends.

We had a great stay with Lu and Jerry. The room, in spite of being very small (which Lu very accurately points out in her description), was comfortable and had all the amenities one could ask for. There was even an umbrella just in case! Breakfast was good and served promptly at 9. We would gladly stay with them again.

LuAnn and Jerry are fantastic hosts. The moment we walked in the door, they welcomed us with open arms. The B&B was so clean and nice and in such a great location to the Geneva strip...They had everything we could have needed in our room and the breakfast was amazing. Jerry sat and spoke with us at breakfast and we had a fantastic conversation. They both treated us like we knew them forever. Thank you again so much for 2 are fantastic people and your B&B is just as fantastic. See you soon!!!

The owners were very pleasant, we spoke several times casually. Breakfast was better than I was hoping for, and the suite was clean and had everything we needed.

Response from LuAnn:
Good morning, and once again, thank you for allowing us to accommodate you, and for your kind comments! As for noise, I believe that we stated that in our confirmation? If not, I so apologize. I try to ensure our guests are made aware, and will revise our listing on to more accurately describe weekend and holiday noise. We so apologize if this was not reflected. As we are located at the lake, directly on the entertainment strip, and more so, on a holiday weekend, the people / music / bikes / road noise can be pretty loud until 11pm. I wish that we could curb that, but as my husband says, we can not run other peoples businesses. However, we can offer amenities such as rooms toward the back of the Inn, or best yet, ear plugs. Honestly, as we live at the lake, we get the same noise. I hope that it did not hinder your stay, though, and you were able to sleep peacefully once the music stopped (at 11pm?). Thanks again for your comments, and hope to accommodate you once again during our quiet evenings. Lu

Jerry and I purchased, then moved into our lovely home, April 16, 1990. To our dismay, and trying desperately to get some sleep that evening, we lay awake staring at the ceiling wondering what in the world we were thinking taking on such a HUGE task of refurbishing the dilapidated Eagle Cliff Hotel and Cottages. I worked at a Power Plant, raising our then 6-year old daughter while Jerry took the task of blood, sweat and tears. Cottages needed to look pretty for the Memorial Weekend forthcoming, while the hotel needed to wait another 13-years to get it's face lift. We painted, patched and cried...then they came. And they were happy. Our prayed for guest's arrived, couples and families. Our cottages were ready, they were clean, they had kitchens to cook, porches to sit, and they were one step above camping...but pretty! Then 2002 arrived and Eagle Cliff Hotel got it's turn, and oh what a turn it got. The historic wallpaper was torn off, the floors, ceilings and walls were replaced. Where once there were 12-bedrooms and 2-bathrooms were now 6-bedrooms and 6-bathrooms...and a utility room with Washer/Dryer. Wow...What a CAD program and a guy with a vision can do...Thank-You, Jerry. The name was changed to Eagle Cliff Inn. Dedication was held May 24, 2003, then May 25, 2003 arrived. Once again, they came, only this time they were couples and single adult guest's for looking for cozy beds, private bathrooms, evenings by the fireplace, hot-baked breakfast's in the mornings, a large wrap-around front porch for people watching....and Lake Erie...and the Wineries, lots of Wineries. Now, April 16, 1990 forward twenty-five years later to 2016, and here we are. Jerry and his 5-heart attacks, me with my ovarian cancer, but both of us now healed and in good health. Mostly, Jerry and Lu with 1-beautiful daughter and son-in-law and 4-fabulous
grandchildren. You know? God is Good, all the time....and me and Jerry keep pointing our rocking chairs toward the west! Oh, and did I tell you that We entertain Angel's unaware....?-Hebrews 13:2.
