Where you’ll be

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Close proximity to downtown Vancouver is a definite advantage. You can rent a bike which is a great way to see our beautiful city. Starting at Canada Place in downtown Vancouver's waterfront area, cyclists can head west towards Stanley Park along the seawall, watching as boats, seaplanes, and even cruise ships come and go from Vancouver's busy harbor.
When you reach the entrance to Stanley Park, you have the option to cut through the park and head on through to English Bay, or to complete the one-way loop around the Stanley Park Seawall. Either route will take you through to False Creek via English Bay Beach. This two-way seaside bicycle route is a 15- kilometer (9.4 mile) paved bike path that begins at English Bay and continues around False Creek to Kitsilano Beach.
From there, you can connect with a bike route that will take you through Jericho Beach Park, Spanish Banks, and all the way to the University of British Columbia. Some of this route follows city streets that are well marked with cycle-path signs.
If you cycle the entire route, you'll get to experience Vancouver's Coal Harbour, Stanley Park, the West End, Yaletown, the Olympic Village neighbourhood, Fairview, Kitsilano, and Point Grey - with plenty of tempting opportunities to stop and check out what each neighbourhood has to offer.
There is also plenty to see and do right along this bike route, including: Canada Place, Lost Lagoon, Second Beach (Stanley Park), English Bay Beach, David Lam Park, Plaza of Nations, the Edgewater Casino, Science World, Granville Island, Kitsilano Beach, Kitsilano Pool and the Jericho Sailing Centre.
If you continue all the way to the University of British Columbia you can also check out the Museum of Anthropology, Beaty Biodiversity Museum, UBC Botanical Gardens and the lush Pacific Spirit Park

I've lived in Vancouver most of my life so I am very familiar with the area and would be happy to answer any questions you have about this beautiful city. I love travelling and exploring new places. Im always up for a new experience and like to keep an open mind. Im an active person and enjoy road trips on my motorcycle or sailing for days on end. Maybe we can arrange a sailing tour for you! In most things I do i like to do my best. That goes for quality of the accommodation I am providing for my quests. I would like you to be as comfortable as possible. I am passionate about our property as we spent roughly 3 years renovating it and I am excited for you to experience it. Welcome to Vancouver and I hope you enjoy your stay!
