This beautifully renovated cottage sleeps seven and combines old-world charm with modern comfort. With a wood burner, hot tub, games room, and generous outdoor space, it’s well-suited to families or friends planning a relaxed getaway. Spend your days exploring nearby beaches and coastal paths, then settle in for a cosy evening.

The space
Just 600 metres down the hill, Holcombe Beach and the South West Coast Path lead you along the scenic sea wall beside the South Devon Railway.

1-2 dogs are welcome.

Clementine Cottage is a beautifully refurbished four-bedroom retreat in the peaceful village of Holcombe, nestled between Teignmouth and Dawlish on the South Devon coast. Combining coastal comfort with contemporary charm, the cottage offers a generous open-plan living area with a wood burner and double doors that open onto a terrace with outdoor dining and a barbecue. The well-equipped kitchen features an island bar and flows into a dining area that seats up to eight, making it ideal for relaxed family meals or breakfast with friends.

On the ground floor, the master bedroom features a super king-size bed, built-in storage, and an en-suite wet room. A stylish single bedroom, decorated in soft purples and golds, includes a built-in wardrobe and bedside table. A family bathroom with a roll-top bath and overhead shower is nearby. Upstairs, two further bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements. One has a king-size bed, while the other features zip-link beds set up as a super king-size, which can be separated into two singles on request. A shared WC sits between them on the landing.

Entertainment is well catered for, with a dedicated games room featuring a pool table, three gaming consoles, and a selection of board games. A workspace and complimentary Wi-Fi are also available for those who need to stay connected.

Just 600 metres down the hill, Holcombe Beach and the South West Coast Path lead you along the scenic sea wall beside the South Devon Railway. Nearby, Teignmouth and Dawlish Warren offer sandy beaches, seaside walks, and family-friendly attractions. With easy access to local countryside trails and welcoming pubs, Clementine Cottage is ideally placed for exploring the area. This pet-friendly home accepts up to 2 dogs and provides a comfortable, stylish base for families or groups of friends, year-round.

For summer stays, we’ve added two new sun loungers for the 2025 season, perfect for relaxing in the garden.

You’ll also find electric fans in all four bedrooms and the games room to help keep things cool during warmer weather.

The pool table in the games room has also been professionally recovered for 2025 with a smart new blue felt playing surface.

For beach enthusiasts, a 600m stroll down Smugglers Lane leads to a secluded Holcombe Beach beneath the cliffs, primarily frequented by locals. The beach is dog-friendly all year round on the left half of the beach (closest to the cottage).
