This typical Lombard house is located in Livo – a picturesque mountain village, rich in history and tradition – above Gravedona and Unidos, in the upper Lake Como. Located on the edge of the quiet village and surrounded by meadows, it offers a beautiful view of the verdant Sasso Pelo. Casa Monteverde is ideal for hiking lovers – a place that combines nature and relaxation, perfect for regenerating.
The space
Casa Monteverde is a private vacation home, furnished in a simple and functional way, offering its guests a welcoming and familiar atmosphere. The house can accommodate up to four people and is spread over three levels, connected by an internal staircase with a total of 24 steps.
• Ground floor: bathroom with bathtub and shower, sink, toilet and bidet, safe, large closet and access to the terrace and garden, overlooking the meadows and the imposing Sasso Pelo.
• First floor: open plan living area with dining table, TV, fireplace and a small reading nook, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, oven, dishwasher, French press, classic mocha, microwave and toaster.
• Upstairs: one double bedroom with a bed (160 × 200 cm), a second bedroom with two single beds (90 × 200 cm) and a toddler bed, plus a small bathroom with sink and small toilet.
• Outdoor spaces: The large grounds belonging to Casa Monteverde are equipped with seating and a barbecue, perfect for relaxing outdoors. In the quiet evening hours, you can often spot curious deer or foxes approaching the house.
• Please note that the land is only partially fenced.
• Our private parking is available to guests. It is highly recommended to go down the access road in reverse, as manoeuvring near the house is difficult. Alternatively, the car can be parked before the narrow curve.
Guest access
Our guests have unlimited access to the entire house and can also take advantage of the land.

• Airbnb automatically classifies Casa Monteverde in the "near the lake" category. For the sake of completeness, we would like to point out that Livo is located above the lake and that the journey to the lakefront can take up to 15 minutes.
• This is a private vacation home with self-catering. There is no restocking during your stay; basic necessities can be purchased as needed. Please bring your own personal hygiene products, such as shampoo and body wash.
• A change of bed linen and towels is available for stays of at least 7 days, upon request and with an additional fee (towel set €5 per person, bed linen for a double bed €15).
• For safety reasons, we ask that you do not use electric blankets. They increase the risk of fire and can overload the electrical system.

• Pets are allowed by prior arrangement (€40 per stay). Out of respect for the furnishings, please bring your own blankets, towels, and bowls.
• Casa Monteverde is not suitable for people with allergies.
• Unauthorized visits by friends or family are not allowed.
• The house is located in the mountains, surrounded by nature. Occasionally, spiders, ants, small scorpions, or lizards may enter the house – it is completely normal in this environment and is harmless. It is therefore helpful to have a calm attitude towards insects and small animals.

• Livo is a small mountain village without a supermarket or bakery. To shop, you must go to Gravedona, Domaso, or Dongo. You can get there on the C18 line, but there are very few trips: during the day, some routes are only available by reservation via "ASF Flex", while in the evening and on public holidays there is no service. For a comfortable stay, we strongly recommend arriving with your own car or a rental car. We also recommend arriving during daylight hours, if possible.
