I normally take criticism and learn from it, but in this case I have to write a response and defend myself.
I'm not sure what Robin's motive is.
Is she looking for a refund or is she just an unhappy woman.
Please read all the other reviews before you make your decision about Casa Tahoe.
First of all Robin didn't actually complete her stay or gave Tahoe a chance because of the smoke from a fire that was 200 mile away.
However Robin's cousin Sue who actually did stay at my home left me a lovely message saying that she enjoyed my hospitality and would definitely return.
Now I would like to address Robins comments.
She mentioned that the Keurig coffee machine was not operational. What she forgot to mention is that I gave her my personal $600 Nespresso machine and 4 sleeves of coffee. I also gave her a Cuisinart in case she didn't like the Nespresso coffee.
Those of you that are coffee drinkers know those are good coffee machines.
Next she complained about the lack of supplies. I have a supply closet full of supplies. Paper towels, toilet paper, soaps etc.....
Everything in this supply closet is labeled. King size sheets, pillow cases, Bath robes etc....
you get the picture, some people call this organized others call it OCD. Lol...
Now this next one baffles me the most.
Robin complained about pictures of my family around the house.
I have people leaving me messages saying that my place was very homey and my children photos are so cute. No has ever said that photos made them feel awkward.
As far as the steep driveway and spiral staircase. My guest have never had a problem getting up this driveway.
I did notice that Robin was breathing hard.
I didn't think to ask her what kind of shape she was in before she arrived.
As far as the dead flowers and green water. A BOLD FACE LIE !!
the flowers were cut 4 hours before she arrived.
I don't have to put fresh flowers in my home for my guest, but I think it adds life to a home.
The only thing that's stinks here is Robin's motive for this horrible review.
