About this listing
I always wanted to be a Tenenbaum. Each room in this home is themed after a different film in director Wes Anderson’s repertoire, some more subtly than others. This house is a love letter to him, and an ever-evolving design project. Mr. Anderson's House is a century home in the wine and culture-rich County of Prince Edward. It's located within a 5 minute walk of Picton Main Street shops and restaurants, and a short drive to Sandbanks beaches. You have permission to sleep over.
This 100+ year old home has been updated with modern fixtures and beautiful eclectic decor. It's a film lovers' dream, designed as an ode to my favourite director. Each room, themed after or inspired by a different film in Wes Anderson's repertoire, is a work in progress and ever-evolving art project. The house is sunny, getting tons of morning light in the kitchen. The home sleeps 5 people in 3 beds—1 queen bed, 1 double bed, and one single bed in a pull-out love-seat in the eat in kitchen. The ample backyard is fully fenced and private, featuring a large deck and BBQ.

Driving and parking are very easy in The County. However, there are many other ways to get around.
The Hayloft Dancehall offers a free shuttle several times a night and picks up right at the end of East Mary, on Bridge Street, in front of the Picton Harbour Inn. Check the website for pick up times.
Also check out "Hop on the Bus", running summer Saturdays in The County. For a small donation, tour the County's best wineries, markets, and end your trip at North Beach.
In Bloomfield, you can also rent bicycles!
Guests must carefully read House Manual and adhere to instructions regarding garbage, recycling and organic waste.
I'm a reluctant introvert and likely candidate for early-onset extreme couponing. I was raised on juke box oldies, cultivating a nostalgia for a time I never experienced first hand. Vintage influences everything from my playlists to my design sensibilities.
Lifeblood: burritos, underbite dogs, road trips.
I split my time between Toronto, The County, and the open road. I am the only adult at the petting zoo.
