Welcome to Mr. Anderson's House. I always wanted to be a Tenenbaum. Each room in this home is themed after a different film in director Wes Anderson’s repertoire. This house is a love letter to him, and an ever-evolving design project.

The space
As seen in: Lonely Planet, IndieWire, HGTV Canada, W Magazine, PopSugar UK, Mashable, Elle Décor, Hello Giggles and Travel + Leisure.

This 100+ year old home has been updated with modern fixtures and beautiful eclectic decor. It's a film lovers' dream, designed as an ode to my favourite director. Each room, themed after or inspired by a different film in Wes Anderson's repertoire, is a work in progress and ever-evolving art project. The house is sunny, getting tons of morning light in the kitchen. The home sleeps 4 people in 2 beds—1 queen bed and double bed. The ample backyard is fully fenced and private, featuring a large deck and BBQ.

Other things to note
Minimum stay varies by time of year.

Late checkout and early check-in may be possible upon request at time of booking.

Driveway parking for one small car only in the summer months. The driveway is narrow and difficult to access in the winter due to poor snow clearing and neighbours’ parking habits. Long-term street parking is not allowed in the town of Picton from November to March. Plan to park overnight in one of the city’s free nearby lots if you stay during the winter months.

Speaks English
Writer, maker, and mom to three step kids, two dogs, and too many plants to count. Lover of maximalism, colour, and all things vintage. I'm the creator of Mr. Anderson's House (retired in 2020), a Wes Anderson themed cottage in Prince Edward County and The Good Northern, a film-themed waterfront cottage in the Ottawa valley. These days, my partner and I are busy fixing up our 1960s camper trailer. We split our time between Ottawa and the open road.
