About this listing
My place is close to Taksim Square, Istiklal, Galata and a short walk from Karakoy. You’ll love it because of its long views of the city, the location, and its 19th century, East/West ambience. It is ideal for academics, photographers, writers, business traveler and those who love to lose themselves in Istanbul's beating belle époque heart.
An architect-designed and immaculately-equipped apartment and part of a network of centrally-located properties in Athens, Beirut, Istanbul and Tunis, dedicated to reminding us of an earlier, kinder period of cosmopolitan coexistence in the Mediterranean.
It's just down the hill from Istiklal and Taksim Square but a wonderfully peaceful retreat from the insanity of Istanbul with soaring inner city views, huge, seagull-populated skies, and beautiful Middle East and Central Asia-themed photography to ponder over.
You have access to the entire apartment.

I'm a humanitarian emergency videographer for the UN, working mostly in the East Mediterranean, North Africa and West Asia. I'm fluent in Arabic, Persian, Turkish and Greek, and I have a soft spot for the two pumas in Athens' zoological park.
