Location

Princethorpe , Warwickshire, United Kingdom

Princethorpe is a historic village in the heart of Warwickshire. Situated in the middle of the towns of Rugby, Coventry and Leamington Spa, Princethorpe sits on a crossroads of the Fosse Way and London Road.

On the outskirts of the village is Princethorpe College, built on the site of a French Priory, the chapel was designed and built by Peter Paul Pugin and is of significant historical importance.

The house and lodge is set back from the road and is very quiet and secluded.

There are plenty of walks in the surrounding countryside and woodlands. You can walk to Ryton Pool Country Park to see birds and other wildlife.

There are plenty of local pubs - the Three Horseshoes in Princethorpe - and others in the surrounding villages providing good food. The Indian restaurant in the neighbouring village of Marton will deliver for free.

For something a bit more special there is also plenty of choice of restaurants in the nearby towns of Leamington Spa, Kenilworth and Rugby.

Princethorpe is not far from many well known national attractions including Warwick Castle and Kenilworth Castle, theatres in Coventry, Leamington and Warwickshire Arts Centre, as well as the National Agricultural Centre (NAC) at Stoneleigh, National Exhibition Centre and Ricoh Area, home of the Wasps Rugby and Netball Teams.

The lodge is convenient for both Coventry and Warwick University Open Days.
