My place is situated central to some of Southern Tasmania's main tourist sites: 20 minutes drive to Hobart's CBD, 15 minutes to MONA, 20 minutes to historic Richmond and the Coal River Valley wineries, 20 minutes to New Norfolk and the Derwent Valley. You’ll love my place because of the location and the peaceful tranquility that comes with open space, great views and still situated close to the city centre. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.

We had a great stay at Mark's guest home, located on a beautiful property and only 20mins from Hobart and most major tourist destinations around. We enjoyed fresh eggs every morning from the farm and complimentary milk and juice left for us. Thanks for a great stay.

The location is quite and private. The unit is well equipped and comfortable with easy access to the front door by ramp from the car park. Mark is a hospitable and accommodating host.

Beautiful little self contained unit with all the basics for a relaxing stay. You're surrounded by a little farm property with horses and grapevines, yet an easy commute (around 30 minutes in peak hour) to Hobart. Supermarket and basic takeaway just down the road. Mark is a very accommodating host, let me keep my dogs there, and let me renew several times. Gave me use of the washing machine in the big house and ensured I had everything I needed. The cooking facilities are fairly basic (camping gas stove, toaster oven, microwave, fridge) but adequate if you don't want to prepare gourmet meals every day. Great trip, wouldn't hesitate to go back (if I didn't have my own house in Hobart now) - it suited me so well and was so comfy I stayed for around ten weeks all up. Very generous discount for longer stays.

Mark was an excellent host and ensured I had everything I needed. I was able to do my own thing when I wanted and Mark was also very flexible about check in and check out.

Hi, I'm a School Teacher during school terms and a hobby farmer during holiday breaks and on weekends. I really enjoy the fresh air and exercise I get from constantly developing and maintaining my property. I have a small vineyard, a small orchard of fruit trees and facilities to host horses and their owners; paddocks, a stable and a grass dressage arena. there are currently 5 horses at the farm and a couple of sheep. Having the rental unit allows me to share my little piece of paradise with guests and hopefully add to the enjoyment of their travel experience. I look forward to hosting you during your stay.
