It was my second time at Franck's and we had a lovely stay at the apartment! It is very centrally located and within reasonable walking distance to many sights. There are many restaurants and bars just downstairs, and Carrefour City is just a turn away. The apartment is clean and newly renovated with all the amenities that you need – kitchenette, spacious toilet, aircon, comfortable bedding. There is also a small lift, which is helpful for heavy luggages. Franck is also very helpful to let us check in earlier when there were no guests before us. His housekeeper lady is also really friendly! Overall, a really great value for money. I would definitely recommend staying here for your holiday in Paris.
Franck was an amazing host and the apartment was in a great location. Franck was very good at communicating well and offering advice on places to eat or ways to travel when asked. The apartment was very close to two train stations which made traveling around town easy. The apartment was also surrounded by shops and restaurants and a short walk from Norte Dame and the Louvre. Overall everything was excellent and I would strongly recommend the apartment if you are looking for a cosey place to stay.
Franck's place is centrally located, near public transit and easy to access. He also has some hookups with nearby restaurants and a boat tour. Take him up on these offers! If you're a foodie, he's happy to tell you where to get all the authentic Parisian food at reasonable prices. In Paris, with everything being so expensive, this is so important, but it won't come at the expense of taste or a good time. If you're into night life, you're in the right area. There are tons of restaurants and bars within just a couple minutes walk. The apartment is small, but comfortable and clean. The only downside is if you're on the heavier side, getting into the shower might be difficult because of the size of the doors. However, this is the only bad thing I can say about the place. The host was amazing and the location is awesome for checking out Paris.
The place advertised wasn't available until a day later than my arrival so I decided to take a different place. It was still very acceptable for a single person traveling and it was an exquisite location. So I did appreciate the different offer for an alternate place to stay. There wasn't any wifi but I was able to live with that because my phone gave me wifi so it worked out. It was very much a place to lay your head or sleep In as i did the day after I arrived. It was cozy and very very small but I did not mind one bit as I was running around Paris all day long. Again, the location was perfect and that was what mattered to me the most and for the price it was perfect!
When we arrived, Franck was unable to give us the original room due to a problem with the apartment and gave us another one in the same building which did not bother us. Franck himself was very nice and accommodating - he even has his own website with fantastic local recommendations. The place was very minimal but it had everything we needed and in an amazing location.
