Located in the hills of SW Medford. Centrally located to both Jacksonville (10 minutes) and Ashland (20minutes). Gated entry with lots of privacy and very close to some top wineries including Dancin and Pebblestone. Perfect setup for a romantic wine tour along the Applegate wine trail, or exploring the culture and food in both Ashland and Jacksonville. Lots of craft beer as well! Our place is great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
The Iron Horse Cottage is a separate unit located on a 5 acre property and is private from the main house. You have your own private fenced yard with a nice covered front porch and BBQ! You get the morning sun, and it is very shady and nice in the summer afternoons. PLEASE NOTE: There is a small hot water heater in the unit so showers have to be short and although it shows a bathtub, there is not enough hot water to fill the bath. That said, if you require long hot showers, this is not the place for you. There is a TV in the room with Roku/Netflix and we have a stereo/CD player with bluetooth speakers. We strive to give you a CLEAN experience. We use duvet covers on our comforters and ALL of the bedding is washed in hot water between guests. The heating and air conditioning is all controlled with a remote and is very efficient and quiet. We offer coffee beans, creamer, bottled water and various condiments and spices.
We think you will enjoy your stay with us and hope that you are able to experience the Southern Oregon lifestyle. It's beautiful here!

I am a Southern Oregon native and enjoy travel, rafting, skiing, horse and motorcycle riding, camping and an occasional game of golf. Southern Oregon has so much beauty, and has many outdoor and cultural events to choose from. Wine tasting. Britt Festival,The Ashland plays and fabulous restaurants. Whitewater rafting. Fishing. Golf. My husband Gary and I live on a small ranch that is convienently located to all of what the Rogue Valley has to offer. It's the lifestyle that makes Southern Oregon so unique!
