Perfect place for a large group. The house was so comfortable and well equipped that we almost didn't want to leave to go to Yosemite. Thank you, Tchukon and Carolyn, for opening up your home to us.

Don't think twice or hesitate about this place.. It's truly an amazing home if you're into peaceful locations and terrific layouts. Watching the sunsets off the back deck was truly breathtaking. The owners are great and easy to work with and were always responsive to any and all questions I had. It's complete with all the amenities that are ideal and honestly there wasn't anything we didn't have during our stay. This was my first AirBNB reservation and it couldn't have been a more pleasant and satisfying experience overall. The town of Mariposa is close by and worth the visit and it's a lovely drive to Yosemite National Park (about 1 hour 20 min or so). Not far down the road is Mariposa Coffee which is a must if you enjoy coffee. The coffee and owner Jerry are amazing and well worth the visit. Additionally, the WiFi worked great too. In summation, we'd go back and rent it again because we felt truly at home during our stay.

Better than the photos! So much space for our 2 families. Our favourite moments were sitting on the back porch counting all the shooting stars, discovering the pool table in the garage, and sitting in the rockers catching up on the reading list. We even decided to stay put the last full day to enjoy the house instead of heading out to the park.

Truly more amazing in person than in the photos! The house was perfect...clean, big, beautiful, and an amazing view! Tchukon was not able to meet for check in but they did message me to give instruction for arrival and o make sure we were settled and satisfied. It was defiantly the best vacation home I have stayed in. It was a little over an hour drive to Yosemite Valley, if you leave around 4am you will have the place to yourself an no traffic getting in or around. There is a portable AC in the upstairs room that just needs water and it works quite well. Other than that the central air keeps most of the house cool. Had all of the little random things you could want...utensils, plates, pans, foil, pepper, ice machine in fridge, toilet paper, paper towels etc. (you should still bring your own paper products) All f the houses in that are are on a septic system so you can not flush any tp down the toilet which we had to get a little used to. The wifi worked excellent the entire time! Which was definitely needed because we all have ATT as our phone carriers and would not eat any phone service unless in Mariposa or Oakhurst (the house is about in the middle, both are about 30min away. I would recommend anyone staying here goes to Mariposa, it is a cool tourist town with plenty of food, bars, Brewery, and large grocery store) and we found out from the locals that Verizon has more tower in the area so if you have Verizon you should get decent service in the house. We spent many hours playing pool on the full size table until he garage with all the sticks, balls, and chalk we needed. The house itself is a vacation spot in itself. We originally planned on going to Yosemite everyday but after being in the beautiful house we ended up spending half the trip enjoying the beauty of the house and it's scenery...not to mention the family of deer on our porch (5 feet from us)!
