Location

Point Leamington, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada

Peaceful , quiet, very caring, friendly hard working people. People thrive on helping others, in times of need. Crime in our community & surrounding area, rarely occurs here. Sirens are only heard about once a week if that. Everyone enjoys the very small friendly populations of the 10 small surrounding communities, all with their own unique attractions and language dialects.

Bob & Cindy love meeting people and their families from other places in Newfoundland/Labardor and the world. We enjoy sharing our Newfoundland culture including traditional Newfoundland songs, stories, food and outdoor activities with our guest! We love you to hear about your life and culture too. Learning about others is the best experience that we can all share!! We await your arrival at either "Skippers View Vacation Home"or at "Skippers View Cottage by the Sea" location. Bob & I love boating, kayaking, hiking, skidooing, skiing, snowshoeing and playing & sharing our Newfoundland music, food and rich culture with our guest! My favorite hobby is Newfoundland Traditional Mat Hooking, Caribou Hair Tufting, Sea glass collecting and art. I love to teach this creative and fulfilling artwork to willing learners. Please ask for details and book your class during your stay.
