Great location

This charming, cozy cottage is near the coffee shop & the village. Living, dining, full kitchen downstairs; serene King bedroom, full bath, laundry upstairs. Hardwood floors, sky lights.
Great for couples/pairs/solo guests (1-2 adults)
Lots of steps!
Must take a ferry to get here; may require reservations, changeable road conditions/weather. The island is in hurricane recovery but most is open.
Due to Covid-19, now a full day between guests. If sick/exposed, please cancel. All fees refunded.

The space
Charlotte Daughter Cottage is a dear cottage with screened porch in front, deck in back with barbecue and umbrella. Sorry, no pets. Peaceful, private and all the "mod cons" to make your trip a dream. King bed, full bath, TV and laundry upstairs. Downstairs living/dining/kitchen with couch, chair/ottoman, small desk. Heat/AC, full kitchen, TV/stereo, cable with HBO, wireless/internet, tons of books, movies, games and puzzles. Even random beach gear under the house where the outdoor shower is located. Near the coffee shop, restaurants, quaint village, amazing beach, sound, harbor, shops - everything is walking or biking distance away. Ocracoke is National Seashore - no buildings or development of any kind on our 16 mile pristine beach. Voted #1 Beach by Dr. Beach. Water activities, fishing, massage practitioners, fantastic restaurants, live music everywhere both in bars/restaurants and two theater-style venues, local history museums, park service programs! HOUSE IS NOT ON THE BEACH - no development on the beach whatsoever. Short drive to get numerous beach accesses.
You think Ocracoke is great in summer but it's even better in the off-season! Warm and Cozy.

Other things to note
SPECIAL NOTE: We are musicians with a music venue on the island so be sure to find out what is happening while you're here.

A few shops and restaurants are open all year as well - off season is a beautiful time of year on Ocracoke.

There are multiple golf cart, scooter and "beach buggy" rentals here on the island. It's a short, easy to walk to any location in the village. We usually have funky beach cruiser bikes for you to use.

We are one block from the coffee shop (Ocracoke Roasting Company) and the one of the best restaurants in town (The Flying Melon, the other is Dajio and another is The Back Porch). HOUSE IS NOT ON THE BEACH but the beach is minutes away. Centrally located. Eduardo's Taco Stand is great food - but it's take away only.

During your stay
We are very active in our artist endeavors on the island so we come and go often, sometimes odd hours. We will happily greet you, help you find the beach, coffee shop, activities, restaurants, shops, entertainment on the island but won't be very good "tour guides" -- so you'll be mostly on your own to explore, enjoy. Everything is very close, it's a small island! We are available to help you find exactly what you want for your trip but will leave you to your privacy until asked. Just text, call or holler for us!
