Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
This is a cozy cabin nestled on a large wooded lot surrounded with white pine and also red pine trees standing approximately 60 to 80 feet tall. It's a 3 bedroom bungalow with a porch looking out on Lake Temiscamingue where you will enjoy the spectacular views of the sunset. The location is on highway 101 at 27 km from the town of Temiscaming, Quebec. Great for those seeking calm, adventure, recharging your batteries and relax.

The space
This cottage is the 2nd of 2 lakefront cottages on the same grounds that we call Windy Pines. The cottage has electricity but no electric heat (small space heater available). There is a hot water tank and it is lake water. There's a fireplace and wood is provided if needed. There is a 2 piece bathroom which is a toilet and sink. There is an outdoor shower with a hot water on-demand system near the camp that is available for your use. Enjoy the small cozy kitchen, all dishes, pots and pans, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, stove, toaster, complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, salt & pepper. Bed linen provided in the 3 bedrooms if needed.
One roll of paper towel is there to start you off. Aluminum foil can also be found.
Make sure to click on each picture for more details.

Guest access
There is guest access to the wifi network for minimal use. It is not the best connection all the time but it can be handy to have.

Other things to note
There are new stairs going down to the beach area. Approx...15 to 20 stairs. It is sandy but the beach a little further out is rocky. You can walk far enough into the water before it gets too deep. Water shoes are recommended.

As hosts, we occupy the main camp at Windy Pines, which is approximately 250 feet from the Driftwood camp. That makes us available for what you may need.

We supply one big jug of drinking water with a hand pump on it.

We also supply 3 rolls of toilet paper to start you off.

For the outdoor fire pit, pick up branches on the grounds. There are plenty.

There is a very clean outhouse ready to use. Even though there is a toilet in the camp, the septic system is a backwoods version. There shouldn’t be any problems but we ask that you avoid putting toilet paper in the toilet. Please put in the waste basket.

There is a small 19 inch TV. A USB containing movies for adults and kids is inserted in the DVD player for the rainy days.

Hi My name is Lisca. (pronounced Lisa) I’m French Canadian. I am a mother of 3, grandmother to 6. Married 32 years. I work for Rayonier, a pulp and paper company in Temiscaming Quebec. My husband is retired. We love the outdoors. On our very large cottage property, we have 2 cottages. The main one is the one we use all summer and the other is the rental. It’s a very quiet and private area. We are almost always around and available for anything you need.
