Looking for a lovely place to unwind and escape from your hectic life? We have the place for you. Situated on one and a half acres of Sechelt Inlet waterfront, our cozy little house on the water has a wonderful zen-like atmosphere. Watch the eagles flying overhead and the herons wading at water's edge. Kayak up the inlet. Relax with a book, take a walk along the beach, enjoy time together. Golf. Ride a bike. Eat a good meal. Sleep in.
SecondWynd is a lovely little vacation home located on one and a half acres of waterfront property on British Columbia's spectactular Sunshine Coast. We are only a short drive to downtown Sechelt, so you can enjoy a private retreat, but still remain close to all the ammenties.
The house has a large kitchen,1 bedroom, living & dining area and 1 full bath. There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom, plus a pull out couch for two in the living room. For the adventurous, we also have a large, luxurious Bell Tent equipped with a double bed (suitable for kids or kids at heart with a little bit of Tom Sawyer in them). Your dog and your cat are welcome guests as long as they promise not to chase the rabbits that frequent the front lawn. Sattellite TV and Wireless Internet are included.
We are nestled on the shores of Sechelt Inlet - a paddler's and diver's paradise. Sechelt Inlet Marine Provincial Park, a series of water access only marine parks, is an ideal destination for kayakers and boating enthusiasts alike. For divers, there are a number of challenging diving sites such as the HMCS Chaudière, a former Canadian Navy ship sunk at Kunechin Point.
Guided marine tours are available from local operators, and if you are bringing your own boat, we are right around the corner from the Sechelt Government Wharf as well as a private marina. Be sure to ask us about the fishing, prawning and crabbing.
For those who prefer their feet firmly planted on terra firma, we are just down the hill from the Sechelt Golf & Country Club

We are happy, active family family who pulled up roots from the big City and moved to the Sunshine Coast five years ago. We've never looked back! We absolutely love the area we live in. Boating, kayaking, sailing, fishing, diving, hiking are all at our front door and we take full advantage of it ...we love to share our beautiful surroundings with guests, friends and family.
