This place is conveniently located near Monmartre and Gard du Nord which is the main train station in Paris. Only one train from the airport where as in other places I've stayed we've had to transfer. This makes getting to the location simple and hassle free. Plus it's close to a Monmartrr and Sacre Couer. TIP: make sure to get the check in details/arrangements from Lou prior to arriving. Also, be ready for walking up stairs. I counted 107 steps to get the apartment from the ground floor. Once you're there though, its worth the view of Sacre Couer. Cheers!!

We unfortunately only lasted one night there out of our week stay. We were fine with the steep stairs, the bathroom outside of the suite, the space itself and the location but the bathroom had what was most likely quite a bit of mold (black fuzz in a tiny room with no ventilation). The stairs were a workout (which I actually appreciated), but I want to get a workout to reach a comfortable space and not a space I feel could be unsafe for my family. Lou-Brice is a really nice guy and I did contact him as soon as we realized we couldn't bring our toddler into the bathroom and asked if he could figure something out for us but we didn't hear back until the next day as he didn't have cell reception that evening. We contacted AirBnb and they took care of it for us and we moved to another location. It was something we needed resolved asap so not hearing back from him that evening was disheartening although I totally understand it wasn't his fault. We did not make any specific demands regarding refunds and allowed AirBnb to use their discretion based on pictures we sent them at their request. We take pride in being laid back guests, but had to draw a line at mold. If that hadn't been there we would have stayed there for the week. I don't have any malicious feelings towards him and hopefully from this a permanent fix for the mold issue arises.

My husband and I had a lovely stay in Lou-Brice’s place. First, I would like to point out the great location. It’s a straight shot from the Airport (CDG) to the “Gare du Nord” train station, then it will take you no more than 5 minutes to locate the address. Once you are settled into the flat, it will be very easy to get around the city. The metro station “Poissonniers" is a 3 minute walk from the flat. It’s important to consider that this airbnb is on the top floor, so if you don't mind climbing stairs, then I would recommend this location. We exercise daily so it was perfect. For those who enjoy sweet delicacies, there is a bakery located right at the corner, it provides delicious pastries, fresh quiches and excellent espresso. Please be ready for the weather conditions in Paris, it can be a little chilly and rainy too, so don’t forget to pack an umbrella, it could save you from being wet, cold and miserable during your stay. Short story, we experienced non stop rain the first two days, we got soaking wet and as a result we both came down with a cold. Luckily, there is an excellent homeopathic pharmacy across the street from the flat who is knowledgeable and can assist with any type of health issues including jet lag :0). Another tip is since the bathroom is located outside of the flat, it’s important to wrap yourself with a towel and use a sweatshirt coming to and from the bath to avoid getting sick :). We are thankful that Lou Brice had accepted our request to stay in his home and we would stay again.
